Big Dog is a fantastic brewery! Loved it since they day the opened. They have a small town vibe with consistently delicious brews. The staff is always friendly and timely. The new head chef is change of pace that has awesome new specials. Very excited to see what the future holds!

This place on outward appearance should be a hit. Custom brewed beers, large space, clean, etc. But on closer inspection the whole experience is pretty underwhelming.
First the beers were bland. I had tried 4 different kinds, two ipas, and two darker beers. The ipas were not well done. The coffee beer was plain bad, it had an overwhelming coffee flavor which drowned out everything else. The gaslight was ok comparatively, but it wasn't anything I would come back for.
The female servers were all pleasant to deal with, and working diligently throughout the night. The one male I interacted was standing around doing nothing, seemed annoyed when I asked him for something minor, and answered very bruskly and turned away.
The place was too brightly lit, even though it was the evening, and the decor was uninspired. If you can call hanging don't tread on me and thin blue line flags as decor.
It's like this place needs a good friend with style and taste to tell them they need to have more flavorful beer and better ambiance.

Loved this place Very welcoming staff. Michael was our personal guide to food and beer. Chicken corn soup is not your grandmas soup. It is much better! Perfect evening. Low key trivia too. Highly recommend.

My first time there and I went back two days later. I must say the best Wings in all Lancaster county I've been able to find. Everything else looked great too, specially those burgers. The place and ambiance are great too. Staff is awesome, friendly a d quick. Easy plaza free parking. Great Beers and drinks. Overall a great experience and will go back often. Really good local family vibe as soon as you walk in! Staff was very nice and attentive from the get go. Chose the Prohibition which is a little darker than and Amber but not heavy, and the English Pub Ale, which was just as described and a smooth easy drink. The Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich was great, almost had an Asian taste instead of the typical sweet Hot sauce flavored Chicken breast, and according to the across the table critic the BBQ Burger âwas greatâ was completely gone before I could get a pic. Lastly the Hawaiian pizza was good, a little on the greasy side. All in all a great atmosphere with really good food and an amazing beer board! Definitely recommend.

Above average, with dishes that are more creative than a dog trying to catch its own tail. Thankfully we arrived before the dinner crowd because this fun little restaurant got very busy. They were extremely well staffed and every employee worked well together. We had a burger, which was cooked to perfection, and the fish. We also tried two different beers from their large tap selection. We enjoyed chatting with our server who explained that many of the staff are family members. We would definitely go back and definitely highly recommend.

Tried 7 different beers tonight. Almost all were perfection ? The Cloud Kicker IPA, El Loco Mexican lager, Gaslighter Imperial Stout, and the October Fest are FANTASTIC!! Our family also had the burger, two different chicken sandwiches, and a veggie burger...and all were delicious. The fries are amazing too. Live music and vibe were chill. Waitress/barmaid very friendly. Overall a great establishment!! Will definitely be back.
We dod it!!! ! 20 breweries got the sticker, the magnet and the beer koozie! Staff and food are absolutely amazing at this place. Beer is 100% top-notch. It is an absolute must! Thank you, Kathy for a wonderful experience!
