We all got drip coffee for a total of 3 cups. It took 20 minutes because the small pot ran out after the first one filled her cup. So we drank in shifts. The tables were all taken so no place for us to sit. We all hated the taste of the coffee once we got ours and tossed it. Not returning.

I had the opportunity of visiting this location during the holidays. While the food was delicious the staff were rude and not accommodating. I ordered my bagel a specific way. When I noticed them preparing it incorrectly, I immediately said something to both the cashier and the individual preparing my order. Their response was not only disappointing but concerning considering the manager was onsite and did not intervene to right set the situation. Customer service is not their strong suit at this location.

I have been reading the negative reviews of this coffee shop because honestly I was shocked to see that it had any prior to me posting. However, I noticed that after reading them, a lot of them sounded like people disrespecting the clearly stated guidelines of their business and being upset that they are being asked to respect the business policies or they were issues that seem like they could have been resolved with a face to face conversation with the owner based on his response. I do want to express that I too brought in outside food once for a my toddler due to allergies and her needing a snack, but instead of just assuming it was okay for her to eat it, I asked politely and they were amazing and completely okay with this. I feel like in some or most cases, (maybe not all to take away for the experience of others) issues stem more from lack of communication and understanding because from what I can see, the owner is such a kind soul and responds back to almost all reviews with being open to the customers experience and showing genuine care, which can be hard to find nowadays from a business.

Personally, I cannot say enough positive statements about this place. The food is delectable and the drinks are warm and always taste wonderful. I recently moved from CA to PA and presumed it would take me awhile before I found a coffee shop that really loved; however, Butter and Bean was the first place I went and now I am hooked. Their attention to detail, their kindness, and their warm lighted atmosphere makes it a perfect place to be and relax. Also, if you love tuna, I have never tasted a better sandwich than their tuna deluxe :-). If you’re reading reviews and haven’t been there yet or see negative reviews and are uncertain if this is the place for you then you should most definitely give it a try because you don’t want to miss out on such a wonderful place with such lovely people.

This place is so cozy and welcoming. The staff is amazing. I tried a couple days ago the chestnut and praline latte with an avocado toast and it was amazing and today I had the lavender latte and one of the best bagels with cream cheese that I’ve ever had. If you visit you also need to try the Beignets. They are marvelous.

Over heard the owner/boss threaten to punch an employee in the face.

Butter & Bean Café at the Tanger Outlets is fantastic! The food is consistently great—especially their fresh, flavorful salads and excellent coffee. Their breakfast sandwiches are a standout, and the garlic aïoli takes them to the next level—absolutely delicious.

The service is friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. I also love that they support the North Star Initiative (so happy to see this just like we do at E-Town Flooring!) and are actively involved in anti-trafficking efforts in Lancaster County and beyond. Great food, great people, and a great mission—highly recommend!

Butter & Bean at the Tanger Outlets is a cozy little gem and the perfect place to recharge in the midst of your shopping. The warm, inviting atmosphere makes it easy to slow down and actually enjoy your time there instead of rushing out. Their all-day breakfast menu is delicious and comforting, with fresh ingredients that are clearly made with care. The drinks are mouthwatering and refreshing, from smooth lattes to well-balanced specialty coffees that never disappoint. What truly sets Butter & Bean apart is their premier customer service, the staff is friendly, attentive, and always happy to help. It’s the kind of spot that turns a quick coffee break into a memorable experience and keeps you coming back. I always look forward to my next visit.

A coffee was absolutely delicious. Much better than Starbucks. The service was above and beyond the girls behind the counter were very friendly, but most importantly the atmosphere is so wonderful. Christian music playing they’re not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ in this coffee shop. Absolutely loved it and will travel 45 minutes to visit as often as I can.

Their Cold brews are awful!! I always try to finish my drinks mostly because buying a coffee out is a treat. But I could not finish the coffee after a few sips. Unfortunately, their espresso machine was down. The barista tried really hard to fix the drink for me and she was super kind but their cold brew is awful. it's extremely bitter.
