Staff was very friendly - helped me out when I didn't know how to order lol. I got an iced caramel latte with marshmallow soft whip on top. SOO good. Far better than big corporate coffee places like Starbucks. Also order a breakfast bagel. That was also really good! I really like the atmosphere. My only complaint would tables (they have a sticky-like texture & they're pretty high up from the booth seats. Other than that, I really enjoyed my first experience here. Will definitely be back again.

Purchased three of donut shape sweets,unfortunately we had to return them because they were old. They were very nice and gave us suger cookies instead. They were delicious. Thank you.

Great little coffee spot to visit while shopping at the outlets. This is the only coffee spot at the outlets aside from Sbcks and that place sucks so come here instead! Staff is always super sweet and lots of coffee options. Light lunch/breakfast menu avail as well.

This is my husband’s and my go-to spot for coffee and a quick bite to eat. It’s hard to share a favorite drink & food item because we have tried something different EVERY time we visited and it has all been DELICIOUS! Although, any of the freshly made muffins warmed up are probably at the top of our list because we never leave without having one. The ENTIRE staff is kind, professional and helpful when trying to decide what to get. We don’t shop the outlets often anymore but when we do, it’s because we went here FIRST! Check it out even if you aren’t going here to shop. You won’t regret it.

The service here is fast and genuinely friendly, the workers make you feel welcome right away. I tried the chocolate chip cookie, and it was absolute perfection: warm and soft in the middle with just the right crisp on the edges. Paired it with the iced caramel dreams latte, which was hands-down the best latte I’ve ever had. This spot definitely deserves all five stars!

As my wife and I wrap up our overnight stay in Lancaster, we stumbled across this little gem with a name that immediately caught my eye in a Harry Potter-esque way: Butter and Bean Café. (Tell me that doesn’t sound magical!)
We both ordered the breakfast burritos, and they were spot on. Packed with everything you’d hope for in a hearty breakfast bite, with just the right amount of zing from the sauce. What impressed me most? The tortilla itself—perfectly made, sturdy but soft, so you could easily one-hand it without the whole thing falling apart. That’s a rare find!
For drinks, my wife enjoyed a soothing lemon ginger tea, while I—being a bit of a coffee purist—went for a black coffee. And let me say, it was excellent. Smooth, well-balanced, and honestly one of the better cups I’ve had in a café setting.
The vibe here is calm and cozy, the kind of place where time feels slower. My wife even pulled out a book to read, which tells you how comfortable it was. It wasn’t too busy during our visit, which we loved, though I’d imagine opening just a bit earlier (say, before 9) might make it an even more popular stop for early workers and commuters.
All in all: wonderful food, great drinks, and an atmosphere that makes you want to linger. Five stars from us—we’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Lancaster!

Stopped in for a late breakfast before shopping. I had the bagel breakfast sandwich and it was absolutely the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had. It was also the messiest but well worth it. Grab a few extra napkins and enjoy.

We're in PA for a family vacation and stopped in Butter and Bean on our first morning and wow! Everything was delicious! We had a couple breakfast sandwiches, bagels, and the dill and feta scones. Hands down the best breakfast sandwhich I've had! My son loved his rainbow bagel and he ate the entire thing, which is very rare! The scone was so good and had chunks of feta throughout, if we lived here this would definitely be a frequent visit!
