Bustling, bright space with a number of appealing options. The cashier was friendly and informative. I appreciated the selection of vegan baked goods -- delicious! I've had great breakfasts and lunches here before, but my last visit left me underwhelmed. The granola was a nice portion size, but it tasted a bit burnt; I didn't care to finish it. Great service but food and coffee were both really lacking. The avocado toast was covered in goat cheese (way more goat cheese than avocado), and the cheese omelette was overdone on a very dense bagel. I’m giving three stars because the service and atmosphere was good, but food and drink wise I’d have to give it a 2.
The acai bowl was absolutely delicious. The café itself was busy, but still had a calm, quiet atmosphere. You could easily have a conversation with the other person at your table. It wasn't overwhelming.
