Caribbean Wave Jamaican Jerk Restaurant

I came all the way from Texas to experience some of the so-called best ? Jamaican food that this place had to offer. To be honest maybe ? Idk Jamaican food I ordered the oxtail dinner with the beans and rice and plantains and beef patty. The food was not seasoned and for the price I paid for oxtails was not enough I got more beans and rice than anything but the oxtails had alot of fat on them and they were smothered in some type of jerk gravy I guess not my thing but I came for the experience and this was not it. The beef patty tasted awful no flavor at all.

Pineapple Jerk wings omg. LoveRice and peas. 100% made correctly.The veg/greens... I wish I could have had a pot of it to survive the ride home. 10 out of 10.Homemade cucumber juice was everything I neededFriendly service. Bathroom clean. Definitely will return the next time Im in town

I was not pleased with food at all. I ordered a plate of Oxtails, it was 2 whole pieces of oxtail and the rest were bits and pieces. The 2 pieces I got were fatty.. plantains, and rice tasted old. The food didn't look appealing at all. That's the first turn off right there.I also ordered a jerk chicken..Fail! I don't know why they named the restaurant jerk and it tasted like teriyaki. I guess we do things different in New York.Hire new cooks and get some authentic Caribbeans in here. A waste of 50 dollars. I don't how they have 4.6 stars . Must be family!

Sweet little place to recline and dine. The curry goat and curry chicken were delicious. Highly recommend the plantains too!

Food was once good before now it's bad the spicy patty wasn't anything at all filled with ground beef it was mainly fried dough and the jerk with rice and 2 sides was horrible so cold you can tell it was rewarmed and the jerk chicken honestly was 50% none 50% chicken that was pitiful I understand chicken has bones but to have that much, the Mac was cold, the collareens were cold and so was the rice. ?? I will never go back again

My food was so delicious ? I ordered the oxtail dinner with macaroni and cheese and collard greens and my son ordered the jerk chicken dinner.I never had jamaican food that taste so authentic and well season and cooked to perfection ? We loved it and we will be going back soon .My advice if your the Lancaster area check out this restaurant trust me you won't be disappointed ?

So happy Caribbean Wave is near me! So much to choose from and it’s so good! Great service and lots of food. The flavor is everything and then some!! I finally tried the BOOSTER #PUSH!! Run and go get you some, perfect with any of the meals you choose. I did mine with my salad!

First time in for lunch today - had curry chicken and collard greens and a mild beef patty. Tremendous flavor - welcoming atmosphere. Loved the food and will be back to try the jerk chicken!

This place sucks. Its never open. They close whenever they feel like. One time the guy inside, looked me in my eyes and closed the shop early. Don't even waste your time coming here.

This did not taste like authentic Jamaican food. The rice and peas tasted as if they were catered to bland American taste buds. The oxtail had no gravy/browning at all. Waste of $52 for two plates.

So delicious! I had j*** chicken & my husband had the ox tails. We both loved what we got. Cabbage, yams, rice & beans were all amazing also. Service was so friendly & the gentleman was happy to offer suggestions.

Vegetarian options: They have a 4 sides dinner option. Rice & beans, cabbage (not made with meat in it), collards (not made with meat in it), Mac & cheese, yams, & plantains are all options.
