Carlos & Charlies

The food was good. The service was bad. The bar was relatively empty and it took awhile to even order drinks. It was 7:30 so the restaurant as a whole wasn't packed. Then we had to ask for a menu. Then it took the bartender a long time to take our order. The food came in a reasonable amount of time. No napkins. I had a burger that was good but messy. Food was good. Service was poor

Carlos and Charlie's wings are some of the best I've had in a long time. My wife enjoyed how crunchy they were and the blue cheese was delicious. The price on Wednesdays and Sundays is one of the best around ($7.50/dozen). The "Charlie" flavor was savory, garlicky and complex and we both enjoyed it very much. Honestly, I will say this. I haven't been here in a few years, but my friend who I meet with every week decided to do here. I would have given it a 4 had it not been for a few issues. We sat at the bar, which is usually what we do anyways. I was sitting at the end of the bar where the service would take the alcoholic beverages to those sitting at the table.
