Checkers has been a solid restaurant with deliciously prepared menu items and well crafted cocktails. With Covid the hours of operation unfortunately had to be greatly reduced. We ate there last night March 31, 2021, just for 4 days before the Governor will be increasing occupancy to 75% and allowing bars to open. Checkers is one of my Lancaster favorites. I go here when my parents come to town, for my birthday, and even to celebrate when I bought a new house! Can't get enough of the cauliflower and bolognese and risotto cakes when they are on the menu! The menu does change up from time to time which is great because you have an opportunity to try more delicious food! Portions aren't huge, but I wouldn't say anything is overpriced.
