China House Restaurant

This review is for China House located on Fruitville Pike in Lancaster, PA . I ordered a take-out of rice and vegetables with shrimp. My meal is absolutely delicious! I'm writing this review because of how fresh, crisp, and flavorful the vegetables are - they are not overcooked and soft. Staff was very pleasant and the restaurant was very neat and clean. I will be returning.

I ordered one house special fried rice, one chicken, fried rice, and one house special chow mein. I always buy from this location and they knew I wanted the noodles with the Bronx sauce. They give me some kind of strip vegetable and chicken with white rice and telling me that’s lo mein or chow mein. I’m not a stupid person. I know what lo mein is, and they trying to convince me and tell me if I don’t want it to throw it away I would highly recommend not going there. The lady the Chinese lady she’s nasty and rude and I want a general public of Lancaster city and Pennsylvania to know of this restaurant. It’s called China House restaurant. No good.🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

The food was okay, but I was surprised by the $14 price tag for a combo. It feels overpriced compared to other similar places.

amazing peper chicken

Ordered general tso's chicken with reg. Noodles for my 11yr old son yesterday. This ended in me driving to hospital after taking 1 bite of meat. He is allergic to peanuts and immediately started feeling his throat itching, chest pain and unable to swallow. I was so upset, allergens should be listed on menu items including common allergens. We've ordered before this same meal from other places and never had an issue. We stopped here because we went to Walmart after a game and he was hungry.
Would never order from them or recommend to anyone.

We have tried every chinese take out in the lancaster area and China House is by far the best. House fried rice is spot on. We actually order the fried dumplings for dinner parties, a favorite appetizer!

Food is too bland, rice is not cooked. Seasame chicken too sweet. The man that takes the orders is too rude. Never again!! 5 star to the fortune cookie..

Food has no flavor and someone needs to show the girl who answers the phone some damn manners do not go here it is a waste of money and you may get sick
