Ciro's Italian Bistro Reviews
Wonderful food, fast service and our server was great too. We dined outside and it started to rain a little and she offered us to come inside. We declined and she quickly got us boxes and our checks.
The girl at the gelato- not pleasant at all. I sampled two, decided on 1 and then she says to me “the blue mat is down by the bar”. ?? I replied, what am I supposed to do with that. Apparently that is where you now pay for gelato which is not where I paid when I was there...read full review
This place will close if two snowflakes fall anywhere in Lancaster county. While I’m sure the food/atmosphere here is amazing, I can never get to try due to cancellations of both my reservations, once in January and now today. We received no notification of cancellation and only found out after driving about 25min to arrive at the restaurant. Disappointed to say the least!
I have food allergies and the owner came to talk to me about it and came up with a delicious dinner that was safe. What a wonderfully caring thing to do. Service and food were outstanding. Highly recommend!!!!

Ciro's Italian Bistro is a popular restaurant known for its delicious Italian food. The restaurant is bustling and reservations are recommended. The dining experience starts off with warm bread and oil, followed by a refreshing 1/2 house salad. The Seafood Fra Diavola is a standout dish, highly recommended by guests. The chicken Piccata, served with pasta, and the lasagna are also popular choices, along with the braised beef short rib and Shrimp Caprese. The Ceasar salad, while not the best, comes with brown romaine and is served on a cold plate. The restaurant offers a variety of Italian ice cream flavors, including pumpkin gelato, a delightful end to a meal. The waitstaff is commendable, providing excellent service, and the owner is very nice. The food and ambiance make it a little pricey, but worth the experience.
Guests enjoy the pizza and Spaghetti Bolognese, though some find the latter overcooked. The restaurant is family-owned and has vegetarian choices. It can host private events in the back area. Parking is available on the street and in the back, with good space for wheelchairs. Visitors praise the food's quality, with some describing the spaghetti bolognese as the best they’ve ever had, and the service as friendly and professional. The private room for larger parties is comfortable, and prices are very reasonable. Overall, many look forward to returning for another visit, enjoying the great food, friendly staff, and cozy atmosphere.
