Over priced pasta. Owners are cheap and mean. The bartender, Lon, is horrid and rude. They do not know how to treat their help. You can’t even have a piece of bread without having to pay for it! Owner, his family came in and didn’t even leave a tip to the server. Don’t waste your money and time.

I was not expecting too much, but I was pleasantly surprised by my experience here. Service was excellent (it was a busy Saturday night), the food was good (not the best Italian food I have had but for being so local and convenient it was very enjoyable) and kids loved their meals (pizza, pasta Alfredo with chicken) and the gelato bar (which is really good!). My salmon entree was excellent.
Prices are a bit high, but that is pretty standard in Lititz.
Definitely should make a reservation for a weekend evening, which you can do online. Still had to wait a couple mins.

We just celebrated our 57th anniversary at Ciro’s. We knew we would get delicious food and excellent service.
And we did! Plus, our favorite gelato, Mama Mia.

Yesterday, I had a late lunch at Ciro’s in Lititz. It was only my second time there, the first time there was a work lunch and this time I came with my partner who is disabled and has a service dog.
Immediately when we walked in the host looked at my partner’s service dog and she had that look hosts have when we are going to encounter an access issue. We asked for a table for two and the hosts eyes darted around the restaurant then asked if it was okay for us to sit outside. It was too hot of a day for either of us to sit outside with our chronic illnesses, so we said we would like to be seated inside. She said, “uh, well actually…” and I looked at my partner, around the very empty restaurant where not a single other person was sitting outside, then back at the host and she was visibly uncomfortable. She grabbed menus and rudely said, “it’s fine, follow me.” She sat us and Willow went under the table, settled on her mat, and stayed there the entire time we were there. The server was noticeably less friendly to us than the two parties who were seated right by us and the third party who came in and sat at one of the previously occupied tables near us.
We ate our food, I went to the gelato counter and as I was walking away the server said, “I assume that’ll be all for you two?” I gave a short yes, sat down, we shared our gelato and the server brought our tab and walked away. I set my card in the holder, he was walking by after checking on another table, something he didn’t do once for us, and said “oh good, you’re ready to pay.” He took the payment, came back, set it down for me to sign and rudely said, “just to make you aware, the owner doesn’t allow dogs in the restaurant but since no one is really here we let you sit inside.” I just as rudely said, “and just to let you know, that’s extremely illegal…” He interrupted me and said, “it’s not my rule I’m just telling you how it is.”
I signed the slip, we left, the server told us to come back again, the host mumbled a have a good day not looking up from her phone, and we left. Willow never once got up, barked, stepped into the aisle, nothing. She didn’t even have to alert (which barking is an alert task).
Needless to say, we will never return. From the ignorance, to the willful disregard for the laws that protect my partner and myself, to the attitude and unfriendly service we received, this establishment is not only not disability friendly, but it is an establishment that is actively disablist.
I have a retired service dog as I also have disabilities, so I can only imagine if I had a new prospect or my girl wasn’t retired and we would have walked in with two dogs how we would have been treated.

I have been here twice and was not impressed either time. The menu is not that special (I do like their rosemary bread, though). Our server acted like they were in a rush to get us out shortly after we got our food. It wasn't even that busy. The atmosphere is bland, particularly in the back of the restaurant where we were seated. I have no intention of coming here again.

To be fair I’m a New York City girl so I’m sure I’m not their target audience. But still. Just dim the lights. I’ve been in dentist offices that had more flattering lighting. Now this was almost funny. We ordered a bottle of wine for 4 of us. I can forgive her for not doing the whole taste the wine thing, but she poured the whole bottle into the four glasses! When I asked her why she did that she said, “It’s a bottle of wine. It has four glasses.” She said it like I was some sort of a redneck dope. Come on you can do better. I get that she didn’t want to be bothered coming back and pouring us wine but just leave the wine bottle on the table. And it was quaint that at 9 o’clock the place was empty on a Saturday night.
Went for a date night with my wife. Amazing food and supreme service. Truly a gem in Lancaster. We will be back!

Great food and service. I came with a party of ten for a family event. We were seated in a private room that was comfortable and the perfect size. Our server was friendly and professional. The food and drinks were great. Prices were very reasonable. Everyone had an excellent time.
