We had not been to the Cork and Cap for a few years because the last time there we were disappointed in the food but decided to try it again and are glad we did. Overall it was a solid very good. We went with another couple and started with the crab dip which was one of the best we have had! My wife and I then had Cesar salads. The lettuce was fresh and crisp. I then had the shrimp and grits special and my wife had the meatloaf. Both were presented nicely and came out hot . We enjoyed the flavors of both. The shrimp were blackened which gave just the right amount of spice to make the dish quite tasty. Doug, our server was great. Very personable, attentive but not hovering. All in all a very good dinner out with friends.

We've been to C&C a number of times; it never disappoints. We would highly recommend. The menu is varied, prices are fair, the dishes are interesting and the food quality is high. Our server was attentive and good at her job. Finally, the atmosphere is relaxed and the decor was interesting. Ambient sound was nicely muffled by stone and brick work on the walls.

Our server, Mike was excellent and was very knowledgeable regarding the menu and options. We were in a corner to it was a bit noisy but overall atmosphere was festive. Good value, good menu options. And our choices were delicious and prepared as we requested.

Everything that our group of friends ordered was absolutely fantastic from appetizers to dessert. The only thing I would have changed was the soup could have been hotter.

The food, drinks and service were phenomenal. Across our party of 8, we had dirty martinis, old fashioneds and other speciality drinks - they were all raved about. From a food perspective, the cod special, pork chop, short rib Wellington, crab cakes and rosemary roasted chicken was had across our party. Without exception, everyone loved their food. Our server, Karen, was friendly, personable, attentive and a great example for the restaurant. She made our evening out to celebrate our daughter's birthday even more special.

Oh my days. What a lovely experience, front to back. Espresso martini, excellent. The arancini, fire. NY strip au poivre with the crabcake, exquisite. I saw a few folks bemoaning the ny strip because of the peppercorn aspect — I’m here to tell ya, that’s how it’s intentionally meant to be 😂 au poivre literally means ‘with pepper’ in French, it’s supposed to have a thick crust of peppercorn. And it was divine. Cooked to perfection, and paired fantastic with the garlic mash, veg and sauce. The dessert, classic apple pie — good heavens, tasted like home. Could have bears floating from the woods to the windowsill. And the service from Doug, what a lad. What an affable and pleasant individual, and cultivated a great experience and first time (not to be the last) at cork and cap.

The only factor I would mention — it’s very superficial and believe me when I say that it is a stretch, a stretch so large I could open up a yoga studio. I was celebrating my birthday, it didn’t seem like the reservation I made on opentable translated over that I was celebrating an event, and a candle would have been a very nice gesture — but again, didn’t detract one bit from the evening as a whole. I really look forward to coming back — the short rib Wellington looked so good.

I recently went to Corks & Cap for the first time to celebrate my sisters birthday dinner. Exceptional service and delicious food. Everything from their brown sugar old fashion to the special (coffee infused brisket) - well done!! But what made it even better was the service! Special shout to Doug and staff who helped serve our packed table. He was patient, attentive and went above and beyond to celebrate my sister. Would come back and recommend!!!

The food and service were excellent. We went for a quiet cozy meal, however there was a wedding party of 150 people in the bar, which made the atmosphere a bit too noisy, but once they left to go up to the wedding, the atmosphere and noise level went down considerably.

Food was excellent, waitress was very knowledgeable and friendly. The only reason I gave this a four is our reservation was at seven for 6, we are traveling and look forward to a great meal and a relaxing time together by 8:45 they started mopping the floors did not bring any more water to the table or ask if we wanted another drink they were ready to get us out of there. Other than that, it was a beautiful restaurant, ambience is great. We did not like feeling like we were-getting the bums rush.

Food and service both were excellent. Doni was our server and she did a fantastic job. All food was very much enjoyed by all. Can't wait to go back!
