Cracker Barrel has always been one of my go-to spots when I’m on the road, and my recent visit didn’t disappoint. The atmosphere is cozy and nostalgic, with that classic country store charm right as you walk in. It’s the kind of place that feels familiar no matter which location you’re visiting. I ordered the Chicken and Dumplins with sides of mashed potatoes and green beans, and everything tasted homemade and hearty—like something your grandmother would serve. The portions were generous, and the food came out hot and fresh. I also tried the biscuits (of course), and they were as fluffy and buttery as ever. The service was friendly and prompt, even during a busy lunch hour. The staff checked in just the right amount—helpful without hovering. After the meal, I took a few minutes to browse the country store up front, which always has some fun seasonal items and unique snacks. It’s a nice touch that makes Cracker Barrel feel like more than just a restaurant. Overall, Cracker Barrel continues to deliver a consistent, satisfying experience with good food, friendly service, and a welcoming vibe. It’s a reliable stop whether you're traveling or just craving comfort food.
They have great service and delicious food. I highly recommend them. Their country store is great, too.

I placed a large order two weeks ago. I quickly scanned the bags. It seemed like everything was there. When we got back to the venue, I figured out that I did not receive my pecan pancakes, syrup, biscuits and hash browns with another breakfast platter. I was told I would be refunded. I called back 4+ hours later to ensure it was refunded. I was assured it was. Now two weeks later, I see no credit on my card for these two items. Disappointed

The fireplace creates an enjoyable atmosphere. The service was fast and friendly. The gift shop is like a time machine, gifts from when I was a child that you don't see in local stores anymore.

I don’t know what has happened to the Cracker Barrel Restaurants. Supposedly, they have rebranded themselves! In my experiences, it has not been for the better.
On Wednesday, 03/12, my party of two arrived at 5:25 pm. There was NO wait to be seated, and the restaurant was filled to about 30% capacity.
We sat there with our menus for 20 minutes and were NEVER ACKNOWLEDGED!!!! No drinks, no nothing!! We finally got up and took our menus back to the hostess stand…
This behavior is unacceptable!!!
I often stop at Cracker Barrel’s when I travel… thinking that I know what to expect. Very unhappy with this experience!
All I can figure is: that Cracker Barrel restaurants offer early dinner from 4:00- 6:00 pm, and they planned to wait until after 6:00 pm to take our order.
With behavior like this… you are rebranding the name but not in a good way. And, you wonder why you’re losing customers!
