I’m not only a patron of Double C, but also a former employee. Having worked at several restaurants in Lancaster, I can confidently say I’ve never felt more taken care of than I did here. They provided a shift meal every night and were incredibly accommodating with my busy schedule.
Double C is truly a family restaurant—many of the employees are part of the owners’ family, which adds to its charm.
The chef and bartenders care deeply about the ingredients they use, and it shows in every meal and drink. Everything is top quality—I can say this with confidence because I’ve tried almost everything on the menu. I highly recommend any of the bowls!!! Especially the Mac and cheese bowl.
If you haven’t visited yet, or if it’s been a while, I think Double C is a true gem in Lancaster that deserves a spot on everyone’s list.

The atmosphere in this restaurant was nice and chic, an industrial vibe. The food was also good. We order two mason jars of shareable margaritas. Our server actually brought one jar of margarita to our table that was incorrect ( not what we ordered). I tasted both jars because I was not sure. We told the waiter that the jars of margaritas were the same. He corrected the order. They took the jar of margarita that was incorrect and placed it behind the bar and it sat there during our 90 minute dinner. I asked the manager on duty, what they were going to do with the margarita I contaminated. She said something like the staff would drink it later(yuck that is just nasty). They prefer to save the Margarita that I tasted and give it to someone else. I don’t know if I trust a process like that. What if they give it to another customer? I am germ conscious and think that policy needs to change. Our waiter was good and attentive. The bartender and manger need to correct contact contamination policies. I am concerned, good food is great but poor potential of germ transfer is not good for anyone.

We've been here a few times and each time they have run out of something by 7pm. The food is always good but the dining experience is not ideal. Despite having open tables, they give you hard time about having a reservation. The tables are so small, the leg is in the way and you have no where to put your feet and there's no room for all the plates and cups plus your sat in such close proximity to other diners, its really odd.

I was looking to have dinner after 9pm on a Saturday and that can be difficult in Lancaster. My wife and I found this place. The hostess and waitress were kind and gave us excellent service. The food was incredible and just what we needed. Thank you to the front and back of the house for a great night.

Chips and salsa were the best ones I’ve ever had! So delicious. Service was extraordinary. The atmosphere was chic, trendy and beautiful. The spicy burger was tasty, the Mac and cheese with pork belly was the best dish we ordered. Tacos were just ok. Definitely stick to the burger and Mac and cheese. The cocktails were well crafted and refreshing. We’ll definitely be back to try more !

Didn’t know this gem was here. It’s a nice place. Calm and chill atmosphere. The service was great (thanks Andy) the menu items aren’t overwhelming but still has a good selection. I had gotten the mild jerk bowl with andouille sausage and rice. It was great. I do wish the portion size was a bit bigger but it wasn’t small. They have good drinks as well: it’s definite worth the stop

Love that they have a narrow focus and execute everything well. Never had a dish or drink I wasn't 100% in-love with.
We were traveling all day and wanted a good burger. We found this restaurant close to where we are staying. We did not have a reservation and it was busy. The wait staff were nice and accommodating and found us a table. The service was attentive and friendly. I had the breakfast time burger with a perfect fried egg and fried pork belly that was so delicious. My Dad had the piggly wiggly burger with sweet potato fries. He finished every bite. We will definitely return again.

Double C was a great experience! The food was very tasty. Limited menu but very good at what they do. My wife and son had several of the specialty margaritas. They were very well made cocktails. Not overly expensive. The craft beer menu was a little limited, but very good options. One of the owners stopped by the table and chatted us up for a while. She gave us the history of the building (which is very cool) and some background on their other property. They have a higher-end restaurant as well ... John J Jeffries, it is close to F&M. This place was recommended by a friend and it was spot on! Thanks for doing what you do!!

I'm so glad we stopped in here! We had originally gone somewhere else, but we couldn't get service. This place had always looked interesting, so we decided to give it a try and I'm so happy we did.
