The food, price and staff here are all great. Every person I have brought here has come out with the same opinion. Not always a place to go if you are in a rush but you can always call your order in ahead of time.

It smells like my Abuela’s house!!!! Food was very good and the sweet lady behind the counter was a pure delight. Felt very much like home when ordering food. There is nothing about the presentation of the store that’s going to blow you away but when you have people who love what they are doing and food that makes you yell out, “YES PAPI!!” - who needs shiny things?!? Highly recommend for a quick lunch or dinner, AND COME HUNGRY - they will definitely feed you!

Food was great, I’m Puerto Rican and not into a lot of Spanish food from me growing up but this place was great. Good food, a little pricey but good food.

The best Caribbean empanadas in LANCASTER. Better than yo abuelitas. The empanada are not greasy all. The beef and cheese actually has filling. The res and cheese is too filled! All for $2.50-$3!The location is perfect for people watching and the service is like being served at your family friends home.If you been meaning to stop by this is your sign to do so.

We use to go to another Puerto Rican restaurant in Lancaster called San Juan restaurant, which I thought was a better atmosphere, better parking and the food was better. But unfortunately there are close for good. On another note, this place was good. Good food. Basically it’s more of a cafeteria as we call it in Puerto Rico. Order, sit and eat. Basic menu but once again, great flavor! Small spot in the corner on a busy downtown location. Overall a good place if you’re craving authentic Puerto Rican food.

I was so excited to see that Lancaster had authentic Puerto Rican cuisine. I recently moved from the PA/NJ boarder and most of the restaurants there had closed. I went in to pick up my order, the restaurant had fun upbeat music playing, I was greeted nicely by one of the women. Once I got my food home, I was in heaven. The empanadas were so flavorful and juicy (I ate one in the car ;) ). I enjoyed it allll. Plenty of rice served. I normally like my tostones with heavy adobo, but dipping them into the ketchup/mayo mix wasn't too bad! Made me feel at home as if my abuela was cooking. I will definitely be coming back and recommend everyone in the area stop by.
