Great tasting .food. Makes you wonder how they get so much flavor in the food. Anything with onions, peppers, and tomatoes in the dish is outstanding. Have a great dining experience and you will return again.

We had reservations for 6:15 for 8 people and we were seated promptly. Always nice! We were in a side room with a lovely view of the courtyard. Olivia was our waitress and she was wonderful: pleasant, efficient and very accommodating! Our food was delicious from apps, entrees to coffee and dessert! Yummy! We celebrated our granddaughter's 16th birthday and Olivia brought her a sparkler candle and sang with us! Very special indeed!

Horrible service. No silver ware or app plates provided until we requested after food delivered. Had to actually go find out waiter for refills and other requests. He would drop off whatever we asked for and run from the table without checking in at all.

First time here, we took some friends to show off Peruvian food (lived in Peru for more than 10 yrs). The place is gorgeous,we felt at home right away, staff very friendly and efficient. The food was delicious, with lots of familiar flavors and ingredients. I gave them 4 stars for food and 3 for value because after living in Peru for so long couldn't avoid to compare and to have really high expectations. For the value, the food could have been a lot better, it was good, we left happy but there were some things missing.

First, the building is a beautiful piece of architecture. With every visit, the food has always been excellent in variety, taste, and prostration. In addition, the variety and quality of drinks are second to none. The happy hour is a crazy good deal, half off many drinks. I'm not a tequila drinker, but I do like margaritas; and their Peruvian brandy (Pisco) spin on the margarita, the Pisco-rita, was excellent. I also felt their Peruvian lager, made in partnership with Lancaster Brewing, was quite good. The bartender and table waitress were both friendly, attentive, and helpful. This is definitely one of our favorite local restaurants. We still need to get to the York location which is actually closer to home.

I took my girlfriend for Valentines Day and she was very impressed with everything. I t was a nice leasuerly meal. The food was outstanding and plentiful. The drinks were tasty and not overly strong! The seats over looked the courtyard and my date loved the view even in winter.

We went for our Valentines dinner and we had a wonderful meal and it was delicious as always. Our server was so attentive and stopped by our table to see if we needed anything almost every time he walked by. He was so cheerful and knowledgeable. We really enjoyed their mango margarita! It took a bit longer to get our meal served, but we expected this since it was Valentine's evening and it was packed with people. It gave us time to enjoy another mango margerita!

We've been going to El Serrano since they opened many years ago, and it is the best restaurant in Lancaster. Every dish is delicious from fajitas to salmon del sur to camerones en salsa blanca. The margaritas are the best in the country, and they make their own wine.

One of our favorites! Food is always amazing, service is always exceptional and the ambiance is perfect with lovely music playing that doesn't intrude on conversations. Highly recommend!

The food was excellent. The ambience was really nice. Entire restaurant very pretty. Our server, Matt, was very attentive. We ordered the Fried Avocado appetizer. It was only 3 slices of avocado (1/2 avocado). For $11, it should have been the entire avocado, 6 slices. Our entrees were a very good serving size. My niece & I even shared an entree. I would highly recommend El Serrano!
We have not been here in awhile. The menu is much smaller You can't even order just tacos as a meal. I only saw fish tacos on appetizer list. I ordered a combo meal that came with rice and beans. There were maybe two spoonfulls of each. Very disappointed.

The food came to my table cold. 6 shrimp 14 bucks. Drinks were amazing. Waiter checked on me 2 times my whole dinner. Waiting 45 min for my food. Ordered 10 min right when I sat down. Overall. Overrated

Everything was wonderful from the prompt seating, the service and the food!!! I think the only thing I can say bad is they need to update the cushions on their chairs or just the chairs. But that's a small complaint in my book!!

Service was extremely slow. Asked for refills on water, and had to wait at least 15 minutes. Food took an hour or more to arrive. Waiter apologized several times. Just asking for a soda took another 15 minutes. Waiter was pleasant, just slow to accommodate our requests. Food was excellent to mediocre, depending on the entree choice. Will never go back on a Saturday for sure.

Our server was extremely knowledgeable with celiacs and very accommodating and helpful with giving me food options and how things can be modified. The food was fantastic as always even when modified. The reason for the 4 vs 5 star for value was that for the price of the meal there was not much meat on the plate vs the amount of vegetables.
