It was okay. Went for lunch. Ok food, but not worth the total paid for one person. Meat was bland, rice just had color, beans had a smidge of cheddar instead of cotija cheese or any other Mexican chesse. Service was great, waiter was helpful and attentive.

Food was tasty but lacked flavor. I asked for a skinny margarita, when I received it there was no alcohol in it. They re made it and it got to the table by the time I was finished my meal. The waitress couldn’t have cared less she was barely at the table. Long story short the service was terrible and the food wasn’t worth the aggravation.

This place is top notch and will always be my “Go to” restaurant. The chips, mainly salsa, are to die for! I have grabbed them for take out and it has been a hit as an appetizer. The nachos and chicken fajitas are the hit with my friend who I go with as we’ve tasted other local restaurants. This will always be our spot to choose! Thanks to the management, wait staff and cooks for always making sure our belly’s are happy when eating here.

I had the stake fajitas and it was wonderful. I would order it again. The owner stopped by the table and we asked for a tour of the restaurant. He was busy but agreed. There are many private rooms ranging from 4 to 20 guests. It is decorated in a Peruvian style. The room we were in had a giant rain god statue. Some dining areas were doricated to be in an outdoor courtyard. There is an outdoor courtyard as well. The server was knowledgeable friendly and very attentive. One of our neighbors found coupons where you buy a gift certificate at a discount. This made a great value. The price would have been around $80 but we paid $45 with the certificate. I will definitely go again. If they are not busy, ask about a tour.

First time customers, with many more to come. Somehow I managed to screw up the online reservation, on a Friday night, but still were able to be seated right away. Our waiter, JD, was honestly one of the best servers I've ever had - very friendly, upbeat, patient and attentive. We were seated in a small room with just 3 other tables. The ambience is very nice and the food, margaritas and fried ice cream were absolute perfection! I cannot wait to return - again and again!!

Excellent empanadas! I ate everything I ordered, which is atypical.
Everything tasted great.

Our server was pretty good. The decor in the place is great. Everybody felt like our dishes were okay but not great. Nobody was blown away and my portion of the check for dinner for two came to $100. I feel like there are better options but there are definitely worse options too.

This restaurant has a very nice atmosphere as soon as you walk in. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had a smaller group then had a few more friends show up and they helped move us to a different area to get us all seated together. The menu is not super long but still plenty of options for a Mexican restaurant. The house margaritas were made with good tequila and not some cheap bottom shelf tequila. The food was pretty good. The spicy sauce wasn't that spicy but had a really good flavor to it. Then had to finish the meal with dessert. I got the chocolate cake, most of my party got the flan. Everyone was pleased with their meals and dessert. Nice place to go if you are looking for Mexican food in the area.

Appetizers (coconut shrimp and empanadas) tasted like something pulled from the freezer and thrown into a deep fryer. Food was bland. Nice setting, but overall, very underwhelming.

Stopped on our way home because we have been craving good ElSerrano food and are disappointed with the York location. We'll, Lancaster may be worse, we never even got past the front door! Stood in the waiting area for over 5 minutes with about 20 other people (that we could see) and never even saw a hostess. There was plenty of parking still outside, so they weren't to capacity. We left went down the street to another authentic restaurant that was just as good. Sorry Manuel, your restaurants just aren't what you created over 30 years ago 😞.
