Tonight I tried Espino's for the first time in over 4 years. I used to live down the street and would go all the time. I was in the neighborhood tonight and thought to stop by. Glad I did - their supreme pizza was fantastic and just as I had remembered - the owner is also a friendly guy and fun to chat with.
I ordered the steak with rice&beans unfortunately they gave me a whole lotta sweet onions. I also ordered a chicken cheese steak and its came with a hella of lot of onions as well. Thing is on the menu it says sauce& cheese comes in it not onions. It gives u and option to add onions or other toppings so I was so confused as to why did they add onions after picking them all out I was left with a few peaces of chicken also they used mozzarella cheese in the chicken cheese...
I ordered a 16" pizza with pepperoni. It was okay, nothing special, much better options around. Not super crispy or flavorful. My wife got vegan cheese, broccoli and peppers on her pizza. She dis not like it at all. The cheese had no flavor and not melted, and toppings lacked flavor too. He was remodeling and on his own. Friendly owner but food was sub par.
