Usually very enjoyable place to hit for beers and take out some food. I’d give 5 stars were it not for the 2/3 of the staff that don’t know how to answer or talk on a phone. Seems like no one trained some of these dudes. My last order was completely wrong (realized once I got all the way home). No real standards in service. But, that said i absolutely LOVE the one dude w the red hair, who is always attentive and super friendly. Everyone else should be taking notes from him, especially when taking orders.

Short stubby guy was very rude at cashier was gonna walk out from the way he came off at me but instead I gave it a try.... Chicken caeser wrap had mainly all lettuce, only a couple chopped up pieces of chicken n very dry with no sauce. Wanted to return it but not worth the drive because I don't live in city... One of the worst I've had wouldn't ever try it again so thanks to the stubby cocky rude pric that sold me a lettuce wrap lol smh

My husband and I split their legendary 1-pound cheesesteak, and let me just say: it was absolute perfection from the first bite to the last.

The roll was soft but sturdy, perfectly holding in all the juicy, flavorful steak, gooey melted cooper sharp cheese, and sautéed onions. Every bite was packed with flavor, perfectly seasoned. The portion was so generous that splitting it still left us both fully satisfied. It’s not just good—it’s hands down the best cheesesteak in the area.

They definitely live up to their name. Anytime I've went the cashiers have been super friendly. Decided to take a chance on the cheesesteak and it was good! Bread was warm and fluffy but firm enough to not be soggy, the meat was seasoned and not dry, sauce was ok but then again I'm not huge on red sauce fan anyway. And of course they have a good beer selection. Def give them a go

The food here is very good. The staff has experience working at various restaurants around the town and know how to do it first
class. For example I went to a famous burger place on route 30. The burger was great. I got a burger at friendlies and it was exactly the same burger. Same bread, everything. Also some of the staff are actually Greek. The rest are friendly.

Solid selection, open most hours, and the staff are wonderful and friendly. It's a neighborhood institution.
