Gem’s Catering provided a hot chocolate decorating table at my school’s holiday event, and it was absolutely wonderful. Leading up to the event, they were incredibly professional, kind, and easy to work with. They are clearly rooted in supporting youth and building community, which showed in the care and thought they put into every detail. Everything was beautifully set up and thoughtfully planned. The kids loved it! There were marshmallows, candy canes, whipped cream, and plenty of fun toppings to choose from. The table looked amazing, and parents loved it just as much as the kids. Everyone was excited to customize their own hot cocoa. We will definitely be using Gem’s Catering again in the future!!!!!

GEMS catered my book launch party with a grazing table that had guests literally stopping in their tracks to admire the spread (and then diving in). Super creative arrangement of fabulous food stuffs, not a minute wasted in the efficient set up, and lots of unique decorative touches, like a full honeycomb and figs, and the use of parchment paper to 'plate' cheese, charcuterie, crackers, veg and more. You cannot do better.

GEMS did an awesome job on the funeral luncheon we had for my father’s funeral at Groff’s. The sandwiches were delicious and everything else was great also and presented nicely. Everyone commented on how delicious the sandwiches were. I highly recommend them for your event.

We had GEM Catering for our company Christmas party last night and everything was absolutely delicious. We chose a grazing table along with pulled-pork sliders, chicken buffalo sliders, burgers, and a variety of appetizers. Even though we didn’t do a full sit-down dinner, everyone left very full and the heavy hors d’oeuvres were perfect for our event. We ordered food for 35 people, had about 32 guests attend, and still had plenty left over. The grazing table was a huge hit with so many options for every type of eater. Even our gluten-free and vegan guests had great choices, which we really appreciated. Overall, amazing food, generous portions, and a great experience from start to finish. Highly recommend GEM Catering for any event!

Emily asked us about the vibe/theme of the event, made recommendations for the menu and knocked it out of the park the day of. She arrived on time, prepared and set up this beautiful display quickly. Not only was the food a hit at the event, it was intentionally prepared elegantly to align with the event. Emily personally curated and made this menu with love and intention; our guests especially raved about her scallops well after the event. We had specifically requested locally sourced and she went all out. A few weeks before our event we also requested S'mores--she delivered a beautiful s'mores table and it was a real hit!

I truly can’t say enough great things about Emily and our catering experience. We chose the Italian Bar with Alfredo and Mac & Cheese, and it was absolutely phenomenal. I was initially worried we’d have too much food since fewer guests showed up than expected, but I couldn’t have been more wrong. The food was so delicious that everyone was eager to take home leftovers. Emily even brought to-go containers, which was such a thoughtful touch.
Our event was a double celebration, marking my fiancé’s 5-year remission and a surprise engagement party, and Emily made it all the more special. She handled both the setup and takedown quickly and efficiently, answered every question I had with patience, and made sure we had everything we needed. Her professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail were outstanding.
It’s clear that Emily truly loves what she does and takes great pride in delivering the best service possible to make each event meaningful and memorable and it absolutely showed.
