Incredibly disappointed. We only waited about 5 minutes to be seated, but that was the only quality service we received the entire hour and a half we were there. The miso soup just tasted like salt but the salad was decent. Lucky roll was super soggy like it sat a long time before being brought out. The “sushi dinners” were dry, unflavorful sashimi and subpar hand rolls that we waited over an hour to even receive. Honestly have had better grocery store sushi. We were given a complimentary roll and 20% off the bill but honestly the complimentary roll was so bad we only ate one piece and 20% off feels like a slap as compensation. I get holidays are busy at any restaurant but this was extreme, we won’t be returning or recommending to anyone else.

We had one of our best NYE parties ever with all the sushi that people could eat. Sean was perfect in helping us get what we wanted, and it was so fresh even the fishermen were impressed. Everyone loved it and several new customers were gained. A no-shrimp platter, a no-carb platter, and an everything else platter all within the budget. Genki proved once again why they are the best sushi in town!

My dinner tonight was incredible! This is our go to sushi place. I try sushi rolls that don’t even sound like I’d like them and they end up being incredible. Somehow they make every roll taste good. I love seeing what the special rolls are. Even the simple rolls are great! You can’t go wrong. Staff is very friendly! We love you so much. Your food makes me so happy!
