We got a few prepared bagels and a few 'bagels for later' delivered today. It was our first Harvest Moon tasting. All and all I thought they were quite tasty! These are a firmer bagel so if you are expecting a soft yeasty sort of inside that is not what this is. Much denser interior and a nice outside that isn't crispy/crunchy but that right sort of bagel exterior that's a little more firm/crusty than the inside. We did 2 build your own sandwiches and also got a salt/fennel bagel with cream cheese, toasted. I was worried the salt/fennel would be too much fennel but it was very mild. And just the right amount of salt. Of the three items, this was actually my favorite! While not a 'to die for bagel experience' we would definitely eat their bagels again! Very good, even if a bit pricey. All the ingredients definitely seemed fresh and top quality.

Drove into town. Paid for parking. Walked a block only to find out this place is closed. It was 9:15 am on a Thursday, a time that they should have been open. It looks like they have been closed for a while.

Harvest Moon touts being the only organic bagel shop in Lancaster. They are closed M-W and street parking can be difficult. I chose an Everything bagel with their Sriracha Scallion cream cheese. The bagel was seasoned well and the cream cheese was delicious. They also offer other bagel and cream cheese flavors that I want to try, specifically the Fennel Salt Bagel with Honey Matcha Cream Cheese. They also offer sandwiches and I specifically want to try their vegan lox. Even though Harvest Moon's hours are short and requires paid city parking to access they do make a good bagel and offer interesting flavors throughout their menu. I plan on returning to try something else on their menu.

SLOW service. Called ahead and ordered 3 toasted bagels and a coffee. Showed up 10 minutes later and the 3 bagels weren't ready. Waited another 5 minutes for them, but was then told they needed to brew more coffee and it would be a minute. Ended up leaving after another almost 10 minutes minutes without the coffee I paid for. 25 minutes later I have 3 cold bagels and no coffee.2 stars because the bagels are good I guess. Would probably be better if they were not cold.

There's a ton of reasons why I love this shop. Great owners, tasty food, welcoming atmosphere... Delightfully creative and wildly skilled! The biggest reason I like it here is because they go the extra mile. During the Corona virus shutdowns, they put in the extra work to hand deliver goods. They really do their best to show that community is at the heart of this place. Always professional and passionate.

These are real bagels!I've been living in Lancaster county for 3 years and have been yearning for a real bagel for so long. Real bagels have a crunchy and slightly chewy outer crust with a slightly dense and soft chewy inside. They are generous with their coatings. Harvest Moon Bagel Co nails it. I bought their everything bagel and I am so pleased to be eating this bagel as I type this review. Nothing else that I have tried in the area even comes close. I will be back!!!

Ugh, why do restaurants ever microwave eggs? It really is not that hard to quickly fry an egg for a bacon egg and cheese, but this breakfast sandwich had plasticky gooey eggs that were clearly microwaved. The bagels were pretty standard for a place that is labeled as a bagel place, which is that they were good but nothing special, and the cream cheese was good. The prices are ridiculous, $7 for a bacon egg and cheese and around $4 for a bagel with cream cheese.
