Undoubtedly one of the top Himalayan-styled cuisine options in Lanc. It’s like walking into your grandparents’ home for a home-cooked meal. Food is consistently excellent and cooked with love. Hospitality is always so warm and gracious.

Buffet variety was not impressive. Seating area is very small. Overall, the place is ok.

I found this place by accident, walking past, and I felt so deeply welcomed by the owner, Sarmila. The lunch buffet was an incredible value and everything was prepared with great care and quality. Coming back here is kind of a “must” now! I love how this business is run and I wish every town had such caring and intentional restaurants.

I’ve been going to the Himalayan Grill for 5+ years, and I’ve always had great food. I have a few food intolerances, and they’re always mindful of it. Everyone has been pleasant and helpful, too. By far, my favorite Lancaster restaurant.

A place that’s filled with love for sharing a meal and exposing Lancaster to the finer parts of Nepalese and Indian food. The care and service of the staff is second to none. This is the ONLY place worth taking your friends who are curious about trying this cuisine. Hit the lunch buffet to let people explore and don’t forget to order a side of Momo and Samosas!

This place is AMAZING! I went here 7 years ago and have been dreaming of having it again when I returned to the area for a visit. It exceeded my memories. The gluten free and vegan labels were extremely helpful. It was also a great introduction to Indian food for my mother in law because there are descriptions and can make dishes very mild. The food and service was superb! They have both an Indian and Nepali menu too. The chicken tikka was out of this world! I also recommend the mango lassi and mango iced tea. They were extremely kind to celebrate my husband’s birthday as well! Make sure to to call for a reservation as they fill up quickly (with good reason). I will definitely go out of my way to come back here next time I’m in PA.

The lamb Rogan Josh was outstanding. The lamb was very tender and slow-cooked, with deep, aromatic flavors. The gravy was rich and authentic, pairing perfectly with naan and rice. Every bite was satisfying.
The service was friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was warm and comfortable. Overall, Himalayan Grill is a fantastic place for authentic Himalayan cuisine. I highly recommend it and will definitely be coming back.

I haven't eaten the food here in a few years preferring the other well-known Indian establishment across town. However, my typical place was closed so I tried this restaurant again. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. I had naav rattan korma, which did have nice chunks of fresh veggies, but the sauce was one note and shallow tasting, as if it came out of a jar. I am used to a deep, complex, silky sauce that lingers on the tongue, but their sauce was watery and oily. The onion chutney was also watery and not the vibrant red punch in the mouth like it usually is. I hope this place gets back to cooking with love like they used to. For now, I would recommend the other one across town.
