The “grilled cheese” sandwich was average as well as the tomato soup. Also had a Turkey Reuben which was also very average. Each of these orders were approx $15 which seems very pricy for what you get. Hadn’t been to Isaac’s in years and probably won’t be back anytime soon.
I'm really disappointed that you're only offering takeout at 8:20 PM! This seems lazy and reflects poor service for such a well-known franchise. To whoever owns the restaurant, please be aware that you're switching to takeout only after 8:15 PM, even though the restaurant closes at 9 PM.
What’s wrong with take out only, well I don't like my food cold, and I rather eat it just made, and it is nice to dine in with your family.
Thanks!

No complaints, typically soups and sandwiches. I love the kids menu names to give it a twist. When we walked in for lunch it was pretty slow so the kitchen was loud as it’s the first thing you see when you walk in, but no real complaints.
Kid-friendliness: Cute kids menu!

The food was great, the service was good, the bathrooms were clean and everything went smooth. Yes, it’s outdated and yes the menu has shrunk and the prices are just ok for the current economy. It’s not high, but you’ll pay the same price at a worse place like McDonalds. I had a great meal and the service was good no complaints at all

I’m giving five stars for the food, atmosphere, and service. What I am giving one star for is the billing. I scanned a QR code on the receipt to pay for our dinner and it took me to a website. I typed in some info and then there was a green “ok” box at the bottom that I clicked and it took me to some kind of portal where I thought I was paying for dinner but turns out I was signing up for some called mediagand? They charged me $2 and then $40 on my card when I completed but it for the Isaac’s meal. I’m not sure if they hacked into the website or if it was a paid ad that was extremely misleading, but I was severely disappointed, and now I am going to have to dispute the charges with my bank.?

Service was great. The food was just ok. The kids menu and food was a big hit. Rainbow bread peanut butter and jelly was a winner for the kids.
Kid-friendliness: Good selection for kids meals.

It was very expensive and the food was only ok. Service was very helpful. This just isn't a place that we will be going back to.

Quick in and out of service. Staff have been extremely friendly. Delicious sandwiches. It's a great place to stop if you don't have much time.

Nice place, nice decoration, big portions. 4 stars because the tea was warm and the coffee was not tasty. I liked the aquarium with fish. Very friendly staff.
Parking: Parking right next to the cafe
Kid-friendliness: There are chairs for children

Got a very strange turkey sandwich from there today. Instead of slices of turkey, it was a pile of little bits. Like someone scooped up the crumbs from the meat slicer. Got it as takeaway, so no way to ask for something else. I was already back at work. SO GROSS! I guess the old, delicious Isaacs is done.

Isaac's was once 35 years ago a unique sandwich shop and their prices were not too bad. Now it's just an overpriced sub shop. My experience at this particular location I was delivering and arrived at the time it was supposed to be ready. They said it would just be a minute. Over 15 minutes later they finally had the order ready. Instead of telling me how long it would actually take they just made me sit there and wait. When I said something to him about letting me know exactly how long it would be instead of saying just a minute. The manager told me to get a real job. I worked at Isaac's in 1990 as a cook when I was in high school. I work there again as a server in 2011 for some extra money only to find out that all tips on credit cards are not given to you night of your shift but put on a paycheck that you get every 2 weeks. Must be nice that they can hold all those tips the servers made and earn interest on it for that 2 weeks and making their employees wait to get paid. I've never worked at a restaurant that did that before. I have not eaten there since I last worked there and I would not recommend it to anyone else. There are much better small family-owned businesses in Lancaster that have great food and prices. Isaac's is way overpriced for what they offer.
