You want a banger for a bakery look no further than La Dolce Vita. As the name suggests, the bakery expertly makes a huge variety of Italian desserts, which of those I have tried are excellent. I especially love the cannolis, which are beautifully flaky coated with a variety of chocolate on the inside. The whole place smells so darn good. They even offer lunch options as well. A must try if you love desserts !

This place is amazing! It's small but has SO many Italian desserts and pastries! It can get busy in there but the staff are so on top of it and make sure you get served in a prompt time. You can order actual food here that's not dessert and cafe drinks as well. I took my parents and BF here who aren't from Lancaster and they all enjoyed it! There's some indoor high top seating if you'd like to eat there or find a nice spot in the city to eat. Highly recommend stopping by here if you're in the Lancaster area and want to fulfill your sweet craving (assuming they are open when you visit Lancaster). You can park in the Prince Street Garage and walk, it's not more than 5 minutes from there I'd say.

Although they forgot my order. They made up for it by still being able to deliver a cake. It was delicious and beautiful.

We walked into the bakery twice in one week to purchase cakes for birthdays. Both cakes were amazing! The first one was chocolate and peanut butter, and the second was raspberry filling and yellow cake. Delicious! AND they placed little Happy Birthday edible signs on the cakes along with the persons name for no additional charge! While we were there we also purchased a tuna boat sandwich which did not disappoint! They also offer military discounts! We will definitely be going back!

Got a personal size Tiramisu and was pretty disappointed. Was fairly bland tasting and was clearly not made that day as it was still pretty frozen. You can find better food for the price.

Great Italian bakery with wonderful choices. Typically they also have an assortment of Italian type salads, although the week we went was right before Christmas and they weren't doing their salads, but I do remember them as wonderful last time we had them. If you're looking for authentic Italian baked goods, definitely try it. Metered parking on the street in front of the bakery.

We were in Lancaster after Christmas and stopped into La Dolce Vita for sandwiches, pastries, and coffee. Absolutely stellar on all accounts. The service is A+ and we even struck up a conversation with the person they hire to clean their windows. They REALLY care about people! If you're in Lancaster, go there and spend your $$. You will not be disappointed. Two thumbs up to the staff, management, and owners. You're doing a great job.

Sadly it was a Monday and they are closed on Mondays. I love their pastries, my schedule prevents me from stopping by, since it is over 40 minutes drive from my location. Opportunity is key.

I always get the roasted vegetable panini, and it never disappoints - is always good! Desserts are great too! Also, the customer service is always excellent! I think what defines a great business too is how they deal with customers - and the rare rude ones. When I came in, I witnessed a rude customer who was putting her fingers on the glass display windows and being very short and commanding. The way the team at La Dolce Vita Courthouse Bakery calmly kept providing her customer service is to be admired - I surely wouldn't have been able to.
