I will start off that I have never identified as a pie lover. But this is some of the best damn pie I have ever had: the fruit, not so sweet; the crust perfectly flakey and buttery. You can feel that it was made with complete love. The owners are lovely and kind people, so generous with their time and greeting you warmly as if you are an old friend. It’s an absolute gem of place.
Favorite flavors: blueberry, strawberry rhubard, and lemon custard.

Words cannot express how wonderful Lancaster Pie and Coffee is. I also want to note that I have been a huge fan for a while. We wanted to have pie instead of cake for our wedding, and they made it beyond easy to help us. Micah is an actual angel who made the entire process seamless and enjoyable, all while being the sweetest person ever. The day of the wedding, he personally delivered the pies to our venue and put them away for us. We also needed a few pies for some people with dietary needs, and he happily offered us a solution (W Donuts!). That recommendation took a ton of stress away when it came to looking for those options.
Our guests flipped out when they saw pie coming out, and I saw many people walking away at the end of the night with slices wrapped up to go. People came up to me to rave about the pie. People told me they will be visiting the shop next time they are in town. I'm not exaggerating when I say that the pie was a hit.
The pie and coffee here is delicious, obviously, but their customer service, care, and dedication is what makes them truly amazing. If you get the pleasure go here, please know you're getting something truly special. I also hope you get the chance to meet one of the nicest people I've ever met, Micah!

Lancaster Pie and Coffee is an absolute delight! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm, welcoming, and super friendly vibe that instantly makes you feel at home. The space is cozy, clean, and perfect whether you're dining solo or catching up with a friend over a coffee and a plate of deliciousness.
We tried the waffles and quiche, and both were incredible—so good, in fact, that we couldn't resist ordering a sour cherry hand pie and banana cream pie to go. And let me tell you, we were so glad we did! Every bite was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with love.
This place is everything you’d want in a local spot: inviting, delicious, and run with heart. If you're in Lancaster, do yourself a favor and support this wonderful small business. It’s a true gem!

This place has it all! To start, there is a great playlist that fits the beautiful marriage of bright and earnest dedication to detail. The pies were fantastic (our favorite being the pecan bourbon) and Micah went above and beyond to be accommodating to my allergy. We need this in Philly!
The service is incredibly friendly and helpful here, I cannot say that enough. The interior is a bit close, but this is fairly common in Lancaster, so I can't fault that- it works fine for takeout! The coffee/espresso options aren't bad, though I will say the oat milk is very forward and overpowers the coffee, so I might go with dairy next time. The pies are where they shine- they make so many flavors in different styles and sizes, and it's marvelous. I snagged a pumpkin cream tart and a mixed berry hand pie, and was very pleasantly surprised by the mousse-like lightness and fluffiness of the pumpkin tart. The fruit is obviously well-chosen and mixed. They know what's up-check them out for sure!
Parking: I think there's street parking, but when I went, there was construction blocking this.

Lancaster Pie and Coffee is truly one of Lancaster city’s hidden gems. All the food has that homemade touch and flavor to it. I am very much a savory pie person, the chicken and brisket pie NEVER disappoint. On the sweet pie end, the lemon crème and chocolate silk pies are heavenly. I also love that they serve hand-pies if the full portion is too big for you. The service is also phenomenal, Annie the barista is always very attentive. Highly recommend as a Lancaster local!

My wife and I visited downtown Lancaster a few weeks ago in celebration of her birthday and we came across this wonderful place! While we didn't get anything during our first visit, we were treated to a very comprehensive overview of the menu from the exuberant and gracious Micah, who was wonderful and patiently addressed all of our question (and we had a bunch!). He even provided my wife with a cold drink of water to take along as it was very humid that day---what a kind gesture and a nice touch! We will definitely be back soon to try the delectable looking dishes---especially the lime creme pie!
