We are from out of town on vacation. We went to Lombardo’s for dinner tonight.. These restaurants need to update their prices in the menu. Search online, their prices were ridiculously expensive.
The food was standard average food.
The soup was the only thing that was really decent on the menu.
The service was cool and aloof, almost condescending, absolutely do not go here unless you just want to throw away your green dollars.
You would honestly have a better meal at Olive Garden, which has also gone downhill. Don’t go here unless you want to be disappointed.

We stopped in on a whim...on a Saturday without a reservation figuring there would be a wait. However, there was no wait for the patio, which was lovely and cooled by large fans which also drowned out the traffic noise while still allowing for conversation. Service was great. The food was amazing and plentiful. The caprese salad was amazing and quite large...easily a meal in itself or for sharing. Lasagna was delicious, filled with a variety of meats & mushrooms resulting in an outstanding depth of flavor. Highly recommend!

My boyfriend’s $42 short ribs were not tender. My manicotti was tasty but the edges were hard.

Ambiance, service, atmosphere 10 out of 10. We had prosciutto wrappped asparagus and the flavors of everything blended so beautifully. Blackberry lemon drop ( I had 3)
Ravioli and filet again 10 out of 10.
More upscale then anticipated but we were so welcomed. Will deff be back with friends!!

Very nice restaurant, but I didn’t see pizza there during lunch. A real italian restaurant needs to have pizza.

The restaurant has been beautifully renovated and features a decadent design that makes dining there feel extra special. We visited on a Friday and there was live music on the piano. Combined with the friendly, attentive service it was a memorable evening for our family. The lemon risotto and braised short rib were excellent!

Server did not engage with us until he was until he brought the check. Food came out cold, returned it brought back warm. Manicotti made with crepes???? Not manicotti noodles??? Salad had spoiled lettuce in it. Nothing came with the meal. Had to pay for salads. Very pricey and not really worth it. I was a long time customer from back in the day. Wish I could say I’d be back again.

Walked in and stood there for 5 minutes while multiple servers walked around in front of us—although everyone else noticed, not a single server acknowledged my party. There were multiple open seats. Don’t come here unless you enjoy poor service with a side of humiliation.
We went here on a whim for dinner last night because we had been wanting to go for so long, and Lombardo's did not disappoint! In fact, they exceeded expectations! We got the calamari, bolognese, and mushroom gemelli. I am still thinking about how delicious my gemelli was. They get their wild mushrooms from Kennet Square. Seeing the enokis in my dish was such a wonderful surprise. They also have an extensive amaro selection. In particular they had the See the Elephant amaro, much to my delight. I had been chasing it since I had sampled it at another well-known local Italian joint. I wish we saved room for dessert, because I'm sure it is also amazing. If you are on the fence about checking this place out, please take this as a sign to make your reservation! You will have a delectable dining experience.

The bartenders were very odd and unwelcoming. I sat at an empty seat at the bar—no drink, no person in sight—and was immediately told the seat was taken. Eventually, someone did return briefly and then left again. At that point, I sat down, keeping in mind this person had been taking up two seats, so I figured one was fair game. Yet again, I was told the seat was still taken.
Last time I checked, if there’s no person and no drink, it’s an open seat—especially at a busy bar. The bartender’s attitude was rude and unnecessary. I genuinely don’t understand the hostility toward someone who’s literally there to spend money and order a drink.
Even the woman sitting next to me leaned over and whispered “sorry,” clearly feeling awkward about the whole interaction. That says a lot.
I also felt like I was being looked up and down the entire time—both by the bartender and, I assume, the barback. As someone who’s worked in hospitality, I found the behavior really disappointing. Later, I realized the woman who had been taking up the seats likely worked there, which makes it even worse. Shouldn’t paying customers be prioritized?
