The food was delicious (and decent size servings), the service was fine, and the place looks nice too...except it looks straight out of a horror movie. Sure, it's late winter so of course it will not look the same way it would (hopefully) look during the spring/summer, but it really does look dirty and dusty everywhere, the entrance smells like urine, and the worst part was the large amount of fish in the pond...ALL DEAD. We stopped in at Loxley’s Restaurant around 4:45 p.m. for cocktails and dinner. There was about a 20-minute wait for a table, so we decided to head into the taproom instead. Great choice—there’s no wait in the taproom, and you can still order off the full menu.
The taproom has a warm, relaxing atmosphere with a rustic feel and a cozy fireplace. It started getting busy as happy hour kicked off (5–7 p.m. daily), but the vibe remained enjoyable.

My friend and I were down from Harrisburg. We had a hard time deciding on what to get! We split appetizers-Brussels sprouts and cheese curds. I got the nuts and berries salad and my friend got the apple salad. We each also had the French Onion soup. Everything was delicious. The Chai Martini was also good. The prices were great!! Service was a little slow, (plates not cleared) but she was friendly.
