Take a cushion, wood seats hurt after a while sitting.One table never got their dinner, even being told they were "next". After over an hour, they paid for their drinks and did not take the offer of take out, as that is not the purpose of a nice dining experience.Our group was among the first into the restaurant for dinner, we were by reservation default (unknown to us) assigned a table on the second level up steep stairs. No one should have this a default given the number of people with disabilities, and we had to wait for a "decision". Finally, we were given one of a number of empty tables on the first floor.Half liked their food a lot (pasta dish tagliatelle bolognese). Table bread (appetizer) was very good. My Luca Chicken tasted too salty/brine. Field vegetables with that were few and very oily. If you want vegetables, you need to order an appetizer for another $25 or so. Butterscotch Budino dessert was gritty, too sweet. The ricotta fritters were very good.

Tonight we decided to try again in hopes of getting aSeat . (Last minute). The last time we were there (about 1/2 year ago) we were pleased but not impressed Like tonight. We got the last two seats at the “kitchen” Bar. What a great experience. My husband knows his “stuff” when it comes to prep and presentation. It is a passion for him !!We were impressed by how the owner over saw the majority of meals coming out. Also we can not say enough about the staff. From the moment we entered, wait staff, and the staff in the kitchen and how they prepared all the meals. We are not sure what changed but tonight was a step above. Everything was made to perfection!! We would and will share our thoughts with our friends and clients. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Been here a few times and we continue to be blown away by the food & service. This time we had a party of six on Easter and were very happy with all once again! The Food is creative, well presented and delicious. The service (provided primarily by Grace) was friendly, timely and attentive. Cocktails are also creative, meticulously made and also very tasty.If you enjoy fine creative food Luca is a must go to establishment and well worth the cost.Dietary restrictions: Staff ask if you have any diet restrictions before you order - with that I assume accommodations can be made.Kid-friendliness: I would not take children here due to cost and adult palette menu.

Sat at the Chef’s Table which was a nice experience. The chefs work well together and some seemed to be teaching others in an encouraging way. Food was great, dessert was incredible. Staff was kind. Worth visiting. Definitely busy - book a reservation.
Overall food was very good. Service was also good. Our seat felt crammed against a divider near the wait station so it wasn't as nice as some other places to sit. But this place is very hip and we would definitely go back!!EDIT: Food still good after several years. Only complaint is still certain seating areas are better than others. Definitely talk to hostess if you are not happy with the table you are given. Honestly sitting at the bar was a good experience if you don't like your table.Parking: Weekends it is fine to find parking. Weekdays, if you don't find a spot in their lot, you are going to park a few blocks away.

My favorite restaurant in Lancaster. I dine here a few times a month and love it. They specialize in seasonal wood fired cooking. Everything is always fresh and the menu rotates regularly. Reservations are not easy as this is a very popular restaurant. You can try to walk in or call ahead and may be able to get bar seating. They no longer serve pizza here as they opened a sister restaurant LUCA Pizza, but the pizza is not the same as it was. Nathan and his team are very talented chefs.
