Great energy inside! Fun decor and really cool building with great character. Clean bathrooms. Great place to get work done. Free WiFi, A/C and plenty of seating although it does get busy!
Service is quick but not super friendly.
This is not a place for coffee or tea snobs. They don't serve specialty coffee and do not offer matcha. Most of their drinks are very sweet. Starbuck-level drinks if that makes sense.
They have alternate milks which is nice and they offer pastries.

Caffeine nerds rejoice! Mean Cup is a great place for coffee purists looking quality coffee experience that doesn't cater to coffee milkshakes and over-roasted beans. Great drip coffee experience with options you would expect from a quality cafe. Feel free to have good black coffee here. Also has a tea selection and Beiler's donuts, next door, is a great tag along for your cup of joe. Wheelchair accessible.

I have to echo two other complaints about Mean Cup. First, if you order a cappuccino or latte, it mostly just tastes like milk, even more so if you get one shot instead of two. Second, while the music selection is very good, it's much too loud to have a conversation without yelling, or to read, or to focus on what you're working on.

I have been coming to Mean Cup at least once a month for I’d say 4 years now, and I love it. I get their beans for my at home espresso machine, and they’re the best i’ve had. BUT, over the years, although i’ve gotten the same drink every single time, it’s eventually turned to just milk. If you order an iced latte, no extra shots, you will get what seems like a cup of milk on ice. the espresso is so watered down and overpowered by the amount of milk you can’t even taste the espresso. It’s almost mandatory to order an extra shot if you want a regular tasting latte. Depending on the barista, you could get lucky. I can’t speak for any drink other than the iced latte, but I do love it here a lot. I just wish the espresso/milk ratio was more balanced.

I liked this cafe enough. It’s more about speed and efficiency than it is about good coffee it seems. With Franklin and Marshall right beside it, I’m sure it’s catering more to the student rather than the coffee lover. Their coffee is cheaper than most, which is nice, but their sizes aren’t big, which is probably why they have cheaper prices. I liked the vibes of the cafe, but it was a bit loud for conversation with the music blasting.

In my opinion, the coffee just isn’t good here. I came for my third visit today (all visits are recent and within the last month) and my iced latte tasted like milk, and that’s about it. I’m disappointed and leaving a review because I live within walking distance and like to get coffee on my lunch breaks on occasion, but I won’t be returning anymore. I hope the quality of the coffee improves in the future!
