A truly fun night out! This is a small bar with around a dozen flavors of mead, along with some locally brewed beer options. You can get a flight of mead to try a few different ones, and then get a lane to throw axes. The instructor went over the basics in maybe 2 minutes and gave us tips when we weren't sticking the axes immediately, so very quickly we were nailing the target and having a great time. It's a very different kind of time to have, and it's a lot of fun- totally worth your time.I will mention as a small caveat - this is a bar, but their food and drink menu is very limited. For food they had a handful of snacks and for drinks it really was just the mead and beers. My advice would be to eat before going. Also, if you have that one friend that doesn't like trying new things - leave them home.

We threw axes and had a great selection of mead. They had some specials, I would definitely recommend a visit and some axe throwing..

The line for the axe throwing was an hour.I’m not a fan of Cider and their Mead was like Ciders. What I mean is high carbonation and low ABV.

Axe throwing much better than Stumpy’s. Great casual atmosphere. Awesome for small parties.

I’ve just let Meduseld Meadery and felt I needed to take a few minutes to post a review. First Matt & Sara were very welcoming from the moment I walked in with my little dog Juni. I had called ahead to ask if I could bring my dog and Sara’s response was, absolutely, which made me happy as my dog travels with me.I got a mixed flight that consisted of two different beers and two different meads. All four were quite tasty. I also had something I’ve not eaten in many years. A corn dog and, though not a health food, it was good to eat with the beers in my flight.Being that it was a Sunday evening just an hour before they closed, my dog Juni and I were the only ones there which met my needs well.I’ll most definitely stop here again in the future and I recommend that you give them a try.

Beautiful. Second time return after a interval of three years and it doesnt miss. They keep enhancing their catalog. Beautiful bottles that they fill it up with. I love their concept of the 4 sampler. It allows to test and drink and bottle what u like

Meduseld Meadery has such a fun atmosphere and the looks of a viking hall. The locally made mead and beer are absolutely delicious and will continue to be so for years if you take home a bottle or growler. From their newer flavors like Old Tom's Cyser to older classics like Glenmacherie, they have a flavor for all walks. I bought a bottle of Glenmacherie 4 years ago and recently reopened it to see how it tasted and let me tell you, though the flavor changed slightly, the honey helped preserve that same delicious taste from 2019. On top of all that, they have axe throwing and an instructor to help make sure everyone has a great, safe time.

Went there this evening with some friends and had an absolutely fantastic time! The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and are dedicated to creating a great atmosphere for their customers. The mead is also delicious. I had the how to choke your dragon mead, and to be honest it was the best mead I’ve ever had! I will be returning once i get the chance!

We visited Meduseld Meadery during a bus tour fundraiser for the American Cancer Society and had the best time! It can be hard to manage that many people at once but their team did a fantastic job. The quick service, fun environment, and great drink selection made for an incredible experience. We will certainly be back again and would recommend it to anyone! Thank you to the Meadery team for an amazing day.
