Wonderful stand at the southern market!
Tried their Nam Khao and it was incredible! All the flavors were so vibrant and complimentary of all the others! I can’t wait to go back! The staff were also so wonderful!
Mekatos, located in Southern Market, has a good variety of Laos/Colombian fusion foods. I got Desiree's plate full of yummy chicken, veggies with a peanut sauce and a "broken" rice that was to die for! With a side of their hot sauce, I thoroughly enjoyed the meal and can't wait to go back. The workers at the stand were very courteous - happy and helpful too!
Their food is a whole sensory experience that will definitely have me going back! The crunchy rice is unique and delicious and the savory and sweet mango salad had me closing my eyes to savor the taste.
