Fresh seafood and great dine in lunch atmosphere. Will definately return.

Came here for dinner on a Friday night. We were a party of 4. We waited in line for nearly an hour just to order food and when we got to the cash register they were out of what seemed like 1/2 the menu - no fish sandwiches, no lobster rolls, no chicken sandwiches, no crab cakes, no potato salad, no marinated vegetables, no nachos, no iced tea, etc! Why not let people know you're out of food while they're waiting?!? Rude! At this point we were super hungry so we settled for 2 shrimp scampi and salad, a cheeseburger with fries and asparagus, and a broiled shrimp platter with asparagus and cornbread. The scampi came out after about 15 minutes, but they forgot dressing for the salad. The burger came out 5 minutes later and the shrimp platter came out 10 minutes after that! The food was okay, but not great, not what we actually wanted and and certainly not worth the wait! We weren't looking for anything fancy, but this failed on every level.

Could have been better seasoned, and fish was not the freshest understanding they are located a bit far from the shores.Clam chowder soup tasted great, but was not hot nor warm.Tilapia and Cod were ok.Shrimp was very good.Lobster was old, and crab cake was no sifferent than what you would get out of the frozen isle of a supermarket.Counter service was a little bold when taking the order but served food to our table fairly quickly. They expect a tip although it is not really a table service which is what you would expect put of a good seafood place where I think gratuity is deserved.

Took a walk on this lovely day for lunch ? been here before and have never been disappointed. Ordered a dinner platter that came with 2 sides, asked for Salmon (which wasn't a fish option on the menu) and they were very accommodating. My total was $28.62 (tax included), which I initially felt was steep. Then I considered that what I spend at carrabas or bone fish grill would be about the same price or slightly less. Now when I took a bite, any money angst went out the window. the Salmon was SO FRESH and blackened to seasonal delitie. The asparagus (option for a hot veggie) was done perfectly and lightly seasoned and the fries were a kiss from heaven (I came for the fries ?). All in all perfect meal, healthy portion size, and always a pleasure to support a local small business! Thanks Mr. BILL'S and The Fat Crab Cafe. I'll be back ??

I have been going to Mr. Bill's for years. I took my mother there today for her birthday and the young lady behind thecounter was down right rude. I believe her name is Sophia. She actually rolled her eyes when my mother asked a question. Sheexuded hostility and irritation thought the entire process.

I would like to go every Saturday for Buck-A-Shuck Oysters!! Crab legs are delicious. Love that it's BYOB.....what a great money saver.
Is something afoot here? Love eating here, but last trip in - wow - things changed. First time it's been so bad, ever. Fish tacos were terrible - so dry and staff forgot the salsa too. Sad, sad little scallops not cooked well. My wife said, "ok, I'm over this place." Not good. Did they lose their awesome chef?

My family has gone to Mr. Bills for crabs for years and they always have excellent seafood. I tried their hot lobster roll today and it was very good. It's not quite as good as a Maine or Connecticut roll, but it's definitely the best lobster roll I've had in PA.
