Many times when we travel we choose chain restaurants as we know the quality of the food will be good and the service generally good as well. The Olive Garden stood out because of the staff. My husband had the 6 oz steak entree and although the steak was small, there was plenty of pasta, salad, and bread sticks. I just had a bowl of minestrone soup which had many different veggies and was very filling. Service was excellent.
The food wasn't that great in my opinion, I ordered the creamy mushroom sauce pasta with crispy chicken. It didn't have any flavor, it tasted like it was cooked mushrooms and they added cream and didn't cook both together so it was pretty plain. There is nothing amazing about the bread sticks, I would rather pay for something tastier. Not the experience I was looking for but I also have higher expectations than most people because tasty food is important to me....
