One of Downtown Lancaster’s BEST kept secrets. Such an amazing/elegant/groovy combination of vibes. Stopped in for dessert and an Irish coffee and it was delicious! Seating and presentation is well spaced and acoustics allow for great conversation. Top notch staff that’s incredibly talented in this one of kind atmosphere in the city!

Great service from the entire bar team vibe was top-notch. All drinks were made well and priced fairly.

Beautiful architecture!
Probably nicest in town
Staff was nice and friendly
Could use better ventilation so that the kitchen smells wouldn't be congested in the entire bar

Was in town a few days last week and ran into this gem.
I'm not sure how I missed this place in my past travels.
Knowledgeable bartenders who know the right way to make any drink you may desire.
You can sit at the bar and watch, or sit at a nice mix of booths, hi tops, and a few tables.
Great small plate meals-we had the Lobster Roll and a French Dip Sandwich which was more than enough for 2.
One of the best stocked bars I've been to in a while, which included some fantastic wine selections as well.
I plan on coming back next time through.
It was a pleasure that I look forward to experiencing again!

Awesome spot, great drinks and food. But every time I go I cannot believe how poor and slow the service is. Literally every single time. If you go, do not get a table. Wait for seats at the bar or just stand around the bar, otherwise service will be awful.

Stopped in for a happy hour meet up with a friend. Opted for the non-alcoholic drinks due to pregnancy. I ordered the coconut based one mixed with non-alcoholic tequila. The drink tasted well crafted but didn’t have the bite that tequila does and that’s to be expected. I ordered the French dip and really enjoyed the sandwich overall. It had excellent flavor but I wasn’t a fan of the dip sauce… I used it once or twice while eating but there was something off about it. The vibe of Proof is very nice and upscale but I’ve never seen it full inside…

Proof of Lancaster has a cute vibe that's perfect for a night out. The "Don’t Spill the Tea" cocktail was fantastic. I’ll definitely return next time I’m in the area!

Tucked away in a basement on Queen Street you will find Proof. Truly a hidden gem. This place oozes class, and it has the service, food, and cocktail masters to back it up. They have house cocktails and mocktails but my go to is the Manhattan. This was the best I ever had in Lancaster. The porch swing is also recommended. The charcuterie has a pretty good selection for you to choose from. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area.

I never heard of this place but it was a top notch bar/establishment. One of the best cocktail I've had. Just a basic Daiquiri but the bartender nailed it.

We did a bit of a pub crawl around town yesterday. Proof, for cocktails (delish) and I had a lobster roll and my friend had the octopus (minus the tzaiki due to allergy). First time in Proof - super cute but hard to eat at the low tables.

This was our first time here and we all really loved it!! It's a nice speak-easy atmosphere in a cellar/basement, and it's very clean and refined inside. The service was great, and the food and drinks were delicious. The short rib bao buns were spectacular, and the charcuterie board was pretty and great. Overall, you can get a bunch of small plates to share and some high quality drinks, and enjoy a very nice and refined atmosphere. But just don't expect a full meal. Definitely recommend it!!

Vegetarian options: Some things are vegetarian and the drinks are.

Parking: Downtown Lancaster parking- either street or parking lot. Street parking is free after 6pm!

Kid-friendliness: Not a kid environment!

Wheelchair accessibility: It's stairs down. I don't think it's wheelchair accessible
