Rendezvous Pizzeria & Steak Shop

Despite the pleasant atmosphere and attentive service, our visit to Rendezvous Pizzeria & Steak Shop was marred by the underwhelming food. For the price, the meals did not deliver good value, as they lacked the expected flavor. The pizza was particularly unremarkable; the char from the oven failed to enhance the taste, and the pepperoni was overwhelmingly spicy, with an intense heat. Additionally, the Italian sub was drenched in red vinegar, yet somehow remained bland. Regrettably, I can not recommend this establishment based on our experience.

Our group had the traditional steak sandwich and the spicy cheese steak.
It was good. Not too spicy. The fries were excellent. The portabella mushroom hoagie was good. The pizza looked good too

Great brick oven pizza! The ingredients tasted fresh and were of good quality. I got the bianco and added prosciutto and husband got the Margherita. Mine was nice and salty and his was savory and slightly sweet - both were delicious.

Pizza (Diablo and margarita) were both delicious! Diablo was spicy and different from most others I have had....fantastic. A bit pricey but definitely worth the extra money!

By far THE best pizza in Lancaster and the surrounding area!!! Cheesesteaks rock too! So thankful they’ve opened . Hope they are here to stay !! ?

Finally ordered takeout from this spot and it was killer! The guy who helped me was great, and gave me a little extra aioli.
Can’t beat that wood-fired flavor. It’s the only pizza crust that’s actually worth eating imo. Having friends over tonight and ordering again bc I think this might be the best pizza in Lanc!

Wow! Just wow. My boyfriend and I decided to go here on a whim, as we try different pizza spots every week. We shared the Bianca pizza, a classic cheesesteak with American cheese, onions, and sauce, and an order of fries. Everything was phenomenal. The pizza had the perfect wood-fired charred flavor and is not overly greasy - the slices hold up when you pick them up! The cheesesteak was perfectly moist and flavorful and the fries were thick cut and perfectly crispy. I have an allegiance to another pizza spot for the pan pizza, but Rendezvous wins the thin crust pizza race hands down. The staff was friendly and brought the food to our table after we ordered at the counter. The dining room was open, bright, and clean with plenty of seating. The only problem is that we started eating the cheesesteak before we took a photo for this post! We will be back with all of our friends!

I like the throwback elements and the cleanliness but the decore feels a little sterile, I think there needs to be more environment.

The food is outstanding. Their pizza is some of the best in town, and the staff was amazing. We didn’t have to wait very long, and the food was just as we had hoped.

I feel like the prices are maybe a couple dollars too high, just a smidge lower and I think it could easily be a frequent order for me.

Would absolutely recommend.

Dietary restrictions: They were super conscious about dietary restrictions and we’re very helpful making sure we were ok to have what we ordered!

Absolutely Horrible!!! Never Again Will I Recommend!! The Sandwich is Disgusting Meanwhile The chef didn't prepare this well It was cold and 3x less size Once Previously Purchased Young Man Still Needs Experience Especially with customer service his skills made this experience the worse ever Smh Never Again!! Guess Being the Nephew of The Owner He Felt Entitled to Service Me Less Valued ?

My first visit since reopening and it was excellent. I have been frequenting the old Rendezvous for 55 years since I went with my dad to the original location across the street. The cheese steak was spot on, the Super Italian had the taste of the old sub as I remember it with different meat, but the surprise was the outstanding wood fired pizza. We got the Heirloom pizza and the flavor was impressive. Side order of fries with Aioli to round out an enjoyable first visit. The servers were friendly and the prices were reasonable.
