I have a big hangup on people touching their hair and face when handling my food or dishes. I'll leave it there.

Rare steak pho, pho nominal! Service, great and hilarious. Food, top notch. The flavor of the broth was savory and a hint of sweet, the noodles were perfect and not over cooked, the amount you get is a lot! Well, when you inhale it like I did it gets filling quick! I will be returning for sure and the hour drive here is well worth it if I do say so. Thank you for making me have a favorite place again after moving away from home!

The owner and staff were incredibly accommodating of our large group. The servers were friendly and helpful. And the food was fantastic! We have a friend who always makes sure to go to Sai Gon Cafe for the banh mi whenever he is in the country. My family lived the lemongrass beef banh mi, and I can't get done talking about the Pho!

This place does not disappoint. Drove in from NYC to take the family around Lancaster for the weekend and this place is always worked into our itinerary for meals to enjoy. Their Bun Bo Hue is the bomb and not highlighted enough as it should be in NYC. Sai Gon's is perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of heat. I love the shredded lettuce and fried shallot add-ins. Their children's menu options are perfect and perfect portion so I won't need to share my bowl of noodles!! We made the mistake of ordering more spring rolls instead of the eggs rolls, however, both were perfect made and fresh. Vietnamese ice coffee with condensed milk is a plus. We'll be visiting again for sure!

We were visiting from MD and decided to grab dinner close to our hotel. We were warmly greeted by the owner - he also came by a few times to check on us. The food was amazing and the portions were great - we really enjoyed our leftovers.

OG Pho spot in Lancaster. Ken is a great guy and even better chef.
Stopped by on a hot summer afternoon for dinner. Table for 8. Pho is 10/10. Clean, flavorful, hearty, balanced. Bo Luc Luc (shaking beef) is also 10/10 and Ken's special. Support the best Pho in town. Summer or winter. It's a winner. (See what I did there)

The food is very authentic and delicious. The servers are very friendly and the food came out super fast and super fresh. I came from out of town and really craved a good bowl of pho. When I got here, I had to try to pad Thai as well so my friend and I ordered both. Definitely do not regret it.

The stir fry vegetables with rice noodles dish was so delicious. The vegetables were cooked well, the tofu were soft and tasty and the rice noodles were cooked and taste very good.

My wife and I had been here on several occasions in the past; and had always loved it. However this time was much different. Not sure if it's changed hands perhaps. And given all the great reviews maybe we went on a bad day. The first indicator of what was to come on our visit last week was when we pulled up in our car and see a gruffy American (cleary non-Asian) guy catching a smoke around the corner. After going inside it was apparent that this guy is the host/server, working along side another gruffy looking non-Asian guy. The food was okay; I had the chicken pho, and my wife had the bun bo hue, but the broth lacked the depth and full flavor we would typically expect. It was plenty hot though (temperature-wise) - which I did appreciate. Several things related to atmosphere and experience however were very disappointing - aside from having the guy just coming in from his smoke break taking our order. For instance, there's no hoisin sauce on the tables; seriously - a Vietnamese restaurant? As each table, including us, gave their order they were asked if they want chopsticks and a spoon, or if they prefer a fork and a spoon. Any table that ordered pho was asked if they also wanted bean sprouts, basil and lime wedge. If you're a Vietnamese restaurant and want people to have a Vietnamese dining experience - don't you just keep hoisin sauce on the table? Don't you simply provide chopstiks and spoons (people can request a fork)? Don't you just provide the bean sprouts, lime wedge and basil for pho orders? I've literally eaten at hundreds of Vietnamese restaurants around the US and the world, and have never seen that. I did not feel like I was in a Vietnamese restaurant.

Absolutely delicious dining at Saigon Cafe. The menu is so diverse with so many options! Vegetarian friendly as well as many options for gluten-free and vegan with modifications. They always accommodate my food sensitivities. The staff are really kind and lovely and the owner Ken is a star. He comes and greets his customers and genuinely wants to make sure we are enjoying the food and the atmosphere. Excellent value for fresh home cooked traditional Vietnamese cuisine. I am definitely a regular now! Both in person dining and delivery!

We had dinner here on our last night in Lancaster County, and it was great! The bún bò Huế was one of the best I’ve ever had, and I’ve had my fair share, having traveled to Vietnam and other Vietnamese food meccas around the world, like Orange County, CA; Houston, TX; Paris; and Dorchester, MA. Others in our party who had the phở said it was very flavorful. Khanh, the owner, is really friendly and shared that when he took over the restaurant from his relatives a few years ago, he tweaked the recipes to suit his own palate and the way he cooks at home. The result? An explosion of tasty and flavorful dishes.

We are in Manheim, PA for my nephew’s for his basketball tournament and looking for restaurants to dine in and while driving back to our hotel we saw the Sai Gon Cafe. So we decided to eat, definitely a place to eat, the food and service is excellent. Came back the following day. The Pho is very authentic taste, and Banh Mi is really good too.
