A true treasure. I'm sad that they have completed their last dinner service. This place will be missed and will leave a hole in the fine dining experience in Lancaster that cannot be filled.

Sweetheart and me went to The Stockyard Inn for our 10th Wedding Anniversary.The snapper soup and the broccoli-cheese soup were really delicious.The crab cakes were good, but they seemed to be filled with bread not just breadcrumbs. My steak was cooked as ordered, but didn't have an up-scale-steak taste.A return visit is up in the air.

I’m very fussy and usually have some complaint about a restaurant. But not here. The Stockyard Inn was such a total pleasure. Food, service and atmosphere ~ all excellent.I would go back anytime and always recommend it. Enjoy!

Made reservations with a few friends of ours to celebrate my wife's birthday. Sat at the bar for a drink, had a great dirty martini with a must, hand stuffed blue cheese olives (never use the Jared garbage)! We had a great time, a cozy, charming room all to ourselves. Service was excellent as was the food and dessert.

Over the past 35+ years, The Stockyard Inn has been consistently one of the best restaurants for fine dining we have ever dined in in Lancaster. We have NEVER had a disappointing meal. It has always been our ”go to” place for special occasions.
I don't think I have ever met a more courteous Waiter and very knolageble on the menus and specials she told use about each plate in detail on how it's made and their ingredients. The drinks and all. The ambient was mellow with a nice ambient music. It's one of my girlfriends Parents favorite places and defenetly one of mine now too. I wish I took pictures, but I was hungry and the food was Amazing and cooked to perfection.
