We hosted a bridal shower at Sugarplums and Tea, and had a wonderful experience! Delicious tea and food, great service, fun decor, easy to work with, and exceeded our expectations. Plan on going again for lunch sometime in the future.

Lovely spot for afternoon tea. We took my Mum for special Princess High Tea ☕️, it was charming. Delightful atmosphere, a pleasant array of nibbles, large selection of teas and at a decent price too! We enjoyed the afternoon. If you’re planning to go, make a reservation well in advance, they are popular !

A unique tea experience! With 20 varieties of tea, you are sure to find something you like! We enjoyed the many options on the high tea menu. The children's menu had a child friendly high tea, too. My daughter's and granddaughters had an enjoyable experience!

It was nice. We took my Mom there for her Birthday. They gave her a bite sized dessert with a candle...was so nice and cute. We ordered 1 of the 3 tiered tea services. Was a bit disappointed. The top had about 3 or 4 spoonfuls of ice cold soup, the middle tier had a toothpick with a cube of cheese, an olive and a piece of salami, a sandwich bite, then the bottom tier had 3 tiny bites of a scone. It tasted ok but for $25, I expected a lot more. Or at least the plates not to look so empty upon serving. Not sure what $25 was for. The bacon chicken wrap was good. The teas were delicious.

Got together with some friends from high school. Loved the beautiful setting with the spring blooms. Also enjoyed our lunch selections.

I love love love this little teashop that does legitimate high tea! The location is a little deceiving as it is at the ground floor of what looks like a clubhouse inside the Mill Creek clubhouse. The inside is smaller than a full restaurant, but it is very quaint. They change their menu every month and everything is absolutely delicious! The teas are also legit - I’ve been to some local places that serve “high tea” and they’re literally serving bagged tea. They have a vast variety and they’re so good, we’ve been getting bags of tea, as well as additional pastries, to take home. My only complaint is that they do not serve clotted cream, but the food is so delicious I can absolutely forgo that. And incredibly, their tea is substantially cheaper than most of the places around!

My boyfriend took me here for a surprise lunch while in lancaster. I absolutely loved it. I had a great time. It was an amazing experience. So much more then lunch and tea. The place is absolutely stunning, the staff is so friendly and pleasant. The food was delicious. I wish I could give more then 5 stars! Thank you for such a rememberable experience.

LOVED this tea room. I’m a bit of a tea snob and I throughly enjoyed Sugarplums and Teas. I got the high tea and my husband got the garden tea. Scones were delicious! I asked for clotted cream and the waitress graciously obliged. I chose the Japanese Empress black tea and it was devine. I purchased 9oz to go. The lavender cupcake was interesting. Light enough flavor to taste the lavender, but not so overwhelming that you think you’re eating a bar of soap. Quite lovely.

I'm starting this review with one of my favorite quotes: "If you have no expectations, you'll have no disappointments." The menu advertised the tea as "high tea." Historically, high tea is not a fancy affair, and there was indeed a twist to this experience. My server, Mya, was lovely and quite attentive, but I have to deduct one star due to the long wait for the tiered food presentation after receiving the tea. By the time the food arrived, I was more than halfway through my pot of tea. In fact, I had finished the pot before even starting on the sweets. While the food was decent overall, I must mention that the meatball marinara soup was overly salty. On the positive side, the environment was charming, the staff was friendly, and the food was enjoyable, albeit with some quirks. For those accustomed to traditional afternoon teas, be prepared for some surprises. For example, you might encounter mozzarella sticks, scones served without clotted cream or lemon curd, and open-faced sandwiches instead of the usual fare.  All in all, I would likely return.
