Have gotten crabs all my life mainly from maryland when i go down but now finding the classy crab an hour from home i can honestly say the half bushel i got about a month ago was the best tasting crabs ive ever had. By far the best place close to home and the crabs they have are loaded like ive never seen and the sweetness these crabs had that the Maryland blues dont is absolutely worth the trip and the money to get crabs from these guys. Hgihly recommend and will be getting another half bushel shortly

Hey Joe, just wanted to say I made crab dip with the lump crab and it was a HUGE hit!! I need to keep this on hand for future entertaining. It was so much better than the canned stuff I get from Henry's. And the 1/2 bushel of med/LG males were delicious!! thanks again! Cindy

Owners Joe & Jeannie are helpful & have a variety of seafood & crab delicacies! You must try Jeannie's crab and corn chowder. Also, if you have a party or get together order a platter of crabby eggs, shrimp and mussels. It was a big hit at our family picnics. Sorry no pics- the platter was devoured in minutes 😄!

We've lived downtown within a very moderate walk for 8 years and this was our first visit. We placed a Snow Crab leg order in the morning, when we picked it up the woman inquired what we're doing with it and we let her know crab cakes. We were informed that crab cakes are generally made from blue crab. Now I'm wondering what else I don't know in the world of crustaceans. We were also offered complimentary steaming. I'm two pounds into the peel process and I'm happy with the quality of the meat. The price was good and the owners are very thoughtful in business.
We had some of the crabs from here and they were delicious! Loved the way they package them! We want to try the crab cakes and eggs next time!

When my husband asks "Should I text Joe? " That only means one thing in my house, Crab Time! ? Always the best anywhere in the area! Perfectly steamed, (we always ask for Xtra seasoning?) and delicious. The Johnny Lightning seasoning is sooo... good!! I may have been carrying it around in my purse for over a year and use it in a lot of things. This place is definitely a Classic. ?
