I just wanted to take a moment to highlight the incredible service we received from Issa during our visit to The Exchange. From start to finish, she was attentive, professional, and genuinely kind — the perfect mix of warmth and efficiency. She went above and beyond to make sure our evening felt special, and it honestly elevated the entire experience. Her timing, hospitality, and upbeat energy stood out in every way. You can tell she really cares about her guests and takes pride in what she does. Issa truly represents The Exchange at its best — she deserves to be recognized (and honestly, a raise too!). Because of her, we'll definitely be returning and recommending this spot to friends and family. Thank you, Issa, for making our night unforgettable! 🙌🏽
While there weren't too many ‘large plate' choices ( there were LOTS of smaller plate choices), the food we had was fabulous ! The Burrata salad that I had was the best I ever had ... and the steak frites and fries were delicious . Would definitely recommend.
Delightful experience with good food ands drinks.our server,Heaven, was friendly and efficient!
Great outdoor stop after the Sunday Fulton Theater matinee . Shared small plates with mocktails and looked out over the changing Lancaster city scape
I used to love coming here all the time but the prices have gone up and the quality of the food has gone way down. This is the 2nd time I've been here this month hoping things would turn around. Not so. One of the dishes ordered was the tomato pizza which was basically sauce on a crust with very little heirloom tomatoes and even less of the basil and special oregano. The tomatoes weren't even sliced to roast them. They were slapped on whole which didn't cook them in the least. Maybe if it were busy I might understand the lack of effort but the place was close to empty. This same pizza was ordered previously and there was no change except even less heirloom tomatoes. I always give a restaurant and a dish 2 chances and I will not give The Exchange a 3rd. The chefs have lost their desire to cook good food for their dinners and keep mailing it in. Very disappointing. Especially with so many great restaurants in Lancaster.
Delightful for our first time. I am Gluten Free and I made the mistake of not looking at the menu prior (to which I usually do) however aside from that the service, beverages and experience was quite nice.
The rooftop atmosphere on a beautiful late summer night was the big draw for us as well as the happy hour food/drink prices. The online address is actually the Marriott's address where it is housed so the Uber driver had a difficult time finding the restaurant which has a completely different address than the hotel itself. After finally getting there, the elevators were not working, so we had to be escorted to another elevator, and then complete the journey by stairs. There was no wait time for our reservation, and our server was attentive and offered good suggestions...we especially enjoyed the unique medley of olives appetizer. The artisan wood-fired pizza was a huge disappointment as it was very mushy instead of crispy with an overpowering garlicky tomato sauce even for garlic lovers as ourselves. The toppings were also limited, and the selection of specialty pizzas needs to be expanded. The Aperol spritzes were good at a good price for happy hour. All in all, it was decent, but we were not blown away by the experience...definitely does not live up to the hype we had heard about as visitors to Lancaster.
A quick trip to Lancaster and I baked my dinner. The Exchange was awesome. The rooftop on a perfect evening... say no more. My server did a great job. The pace was good. My food and drinks were spaced nicely allowing time to take in the sunset. Lastly, the price is the most remarkable comment on this review. A great environment. Great service and good food at a solid price. Easy to go!!
I forgot the gentlemen that I had as our waiter. I think he mentioned his name was Cody or Cory. Somewhere along the lines, but I brought a girl I've known for a long time on a date to that rooftop bar. Our waiter was super kind and was so helpful with a lot of recommendations. Even referred to the best signs that the rooftop bar has. At the end of it when we were done and the girl I was talking to had her last drink. I asked if he had any recommended non-alcoholic beverage since I'm the one driving. He gave me this one drink which was really good. A mocktail which may have been the first or second option on the menu. He was very professional. I gave him a decent tip for being kind since it was our first time there. I'd come back for sure and recommend the place to friends.
Been here several times and it seems to be worse each time. We made reservations for 8:15 and arrived a bit early around 8. We were seated immediately in an outside table that was more like a coffee table for drinks (not really a dinner setting). Our server warned us they were out of a few items on the menu before we ordered anything. We ordered 2 drinks. It took 48 mins to get them. I think our server either forgot about us completely or was so busy accommodating another table full of very inebriated guests. When he dropped off the drinks we had to stop him abruptly to ask to order food (he asked in the beginning of the visit if we would be ordering food and we said yes). He said “I'm glad you stopped me because the kitchen closes at 9.” The drinks and food were decent, but it was nearly impossible to eat a pasta dish at the table we were at. We also had to order our dessert before our dinner was even delivered out to us as we were on a strict time limit of the kitchen closing so the timing of the meal was also poor.

It was my first time being here!! Was always wowed about the lines outside. Now I see why!! Magnificent views!! Great ambient. People of every walks of existence! It was my birthday also
Love the Exchange! Came for a girls night and after enjoying the beautiful sunset outside with some drinks and delicious food, we danced the night away with the DJ! Can't wait to go back!
Beautiful view. We had Issa as our server and she was awesome! Very attentive and helped answer our questions. Would definitely recommend.
Cocktails are great, yes. Never mind that though…the apps we had on our last visit are renting space in my head! Delicious. The menu had changed from our previous visit, not sure if seasonal menus are their thing. I am certain of one thing, this place will be a staple.

My husband and I enjoy dining at the exchange with its wonderful view. The food is great and the service is friendly and engaging. We have been there twice and was fortunate to have Dan wait on us both times. He takes the time to chat with us and makes us feel special. Love it there.
