We've always loved the Imperial's food, but the service has been uneven to poor in the past. Fortunately, we decided to give it another shot, and it didn't disappoint—the food was excellent and the service much improved. We enjoyed the pork belly, the crab cake, and the cocktails.

Great recommendations. Food and drinks were delicious. Attentive service and nice atmosphere. Made a birthday celebration special for my husband!

We selected this restaurant for our anniversary dinner our server and the manager were fantastic but the food was a disaster. I ordered the airline chicken which arrived an hour later overcooked and unedible. The mashed potatoes were bland. The manager tried to make it up to us and offered us for dessert which was super nice but that cheesecake came out frozen I really was hoping for a better experience. Not sure that will ever be back

The staff was five star all the way. Friendly, attentive, professional and fun at the same time. Our kudos to the bartender Howard and the new manager. The entire dining experience was a pleasant surprise. We'll be back. BTW, the salmon was great.

Craig was an amazing waiter! He suggested the seafood Gnocchi and as a pregnant lady I’m pretty picky but it was AMAZING. Imperial has really gotten amazing over the years I will be coming back again and spreading the news on the new chef and menu. Thank you!

The hotel's restaurant offers exceptional cuisine and an extensive menu, conveniently accessible from both the hotel and the street. The service and food quality were outstanding. However, happy hour seems to only be located at the bar. I sat down for dinner, and when
the check came, and my drink was full price even though I ordered it during their happy hour.

We made reservation for 8 people much in advance. When our group arrived on time it turned out that our table wasn't set yet, despite the fact that the restaurant was almost empty. It was Saturday night and I was surprised that the restaurant in the center of old town is almost empty. However, after our experience in this restaurant, I am not surprised anymore. From time we ordered our food we were waiting one hour until first meals arrived, but it was only for two people only. The other 6 people were waiting additional 10-15 minutes for their orders. The rolls and butter were brought just between the meals for these two lucky and the others who were still waiting. The food was overpriced, for example $42 for scallops. It would be ok for large scallops, but there was 5 pieces of less then medium size scallops on the small scoop of rice and few pieces of carrots. The food was tasty but it was just luke warm not hot. At the end 20% of tip was added to our check for service. I do not mind to pay 20% or more as a tip for service, but I do not feel that this service was worth any tip. Overall if we will visit Lancaster again, we definitely will avoid this restaurant.

Everyone was amazing. Food was delicious. Presentation was beautiful. Our waiter Craig was very attentive. From my understanding we were given a new menu and they knocked it out of the park.
We order an appetizer and chicken for the baby both came out before our food which I can't say enough positive things about. All dishes were hot and exactly how we ordered them.

Salmon, crab cake, and beef tenderloin.

The Imperial stands as a beacon of culinary excellence in Lancaster—long overdue for this kind of praise. Kaiden, Stephanie, Corey, and Michael aren’t just bartenders—they’re alchemists behind the bar, turning ordinary nights into rituals of flavor. Each cocktail is a little rebellion against the mundane: inventive, balanced, unforgettable.

The food? Honest. Local ingredients treated with respect. Dishes that don’t try too hard, because they don’t need to. Simplicity elevated by skill.

But it’s the vibe that stays with you. Warm light, easy conversation, and a team that genuinely cares. This isn’t just a great spot—it’s fam. The kind of place you keep finding your way back to, where the night slows down and every pour tells a story.
