We were visiting the area (Lancaster) and came across “Tikka Shack”. Wow it is a hidden gem! Staff was friendly, service was great. Atmosphere was comfortable and inviting. But the food…. We had chicken tikka masala, shack naan, masala fries, mago lassi and rasmalai. It was the best real Indian food we’ve had in a long time. It is a must try spot. Can’t wait to visit again. My family and I stumbled upon this little place when we were looking for another restaurant. My husband is from India, and I have eaten a fair share of Indian food and at Indian restaurants. This was the cleanest Indian restaurant I have ever been to. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was top notch. The curry was creamy and flavorful with just the right amount of spice. The naan was warm and fresh. We also had chicken biryani which was also delicious. If I am ever back in the area I will absolutely come here again!

Missing food, room temp for part of our food, undercooked chicken at the table next to us, “house” spice extremely spicy (possibly given wrong sauce/spice level) and nothing could be done to make our dinner enjoyable after talking to two workers. We eat our fair share of Indian food locally, and this place needs improvement.

$17.64… onion, peppers, peas, carrots in half filled 6” bowl…I can make that for $1.? Ordered Veggie Jelfrez. Very disappointed.
