Upohar was an absolute pleasure to work with for our September wedding! From the very first conversation, their team was incredibly communicative, friendly, and responsive. They worked with us to customize the menu and everything was delicious. On the day of, the serving staff were so kind and attentive, even our guests commented on this. And the food itself was truly outstanding - fresh, flavorful, and had a great balance of spices. Compared to some of the other caterers we had tasted, Upohar's dishes really stood out. Our guests loved the food and we appreciated being able to incorporate our own global influences into the menu. We had a wonderful experience all around with Upohar and would highly recommend them to any couple in need of an exceptional caterer for their wedding day!

Upohar and their team made wedding planning so much easier for us. We were looking for an entirely gluten-free food vendor, and they walked us through everything — from picking the menu to doing multiple tastings so we felt confident in our choices.

They were honestly the easiest vendor we worked with during the whole process. We went with Mexican food with an American twist, and it turned out incredible. Our guests were raving about the food all night, and even after the wedding people kept telling us how good it was. Some guests took leftovers home and said things like the ribs and sweet candied yams somehow tasted even better the next day.

This is a bit late but... I booked Upohar for my backyard wedding in May, and they were outstanding. I have an issue with onions and milk and my husband has nut allergies. We picked out a menu including jerk chicken, Cuban black beans, and a spicy Asian noodle dish. Stephanie and Srirupa were up front with costs and communicative throughout the whole process. The food was reasonably priced and all of my guests either asked me who the caterer was or described how much they enjoyed the food. I recommend them to anyone looking for catering!

Upohar World Kitchen exceeded our catering expectations! The food was amazing and the families at our school community event raved at how delicious everything was. From the pernil and mojo chicken to the empanadas, rice and beans, to the refreshing beverages and tasty desserts--Upohar World Kitchen was incredible. If you're in need of a caterer, do yourself a favor and connect with Sri and her team ASAP! You'll be happy you did!

If you would like a more eclectic, adventurous offering for your wedding or major event, I could not recommend Upohar enough. Months removed from my wedding, my guests are still raving about the food being the best that they've ever had at such an event. The entire team made the process incredibly easy and seamless. I was able to bring a lifelong memory to fruition through two meetings, one in-person and one virtual, along with some emails back and forth to nail down menu, drink and service logistics.

Throughout this entire process, the team was responsive, transparent, helpful and incredibly well-skilled at what they do. We had a decent amount of food left over after the event, and about five or six households came to ours on the day after the wedding with all of their food storage to stock up for the week- that's how good it was. We are so incredibly thankful for Upohar for being a cornerstone of the most important day of our lives, and I will always cherish what they were able to provide for us.

We had a three big events happening within a week so I wanted to make sure every detail was perfect. Also had some dietary restrictions to consider. My search led me to Upohar World Kitchen. The breadth of the menu, along with the detailed descriptions made it an easy choice. I was able to do a tasting (which I thoroughly enjoyed, but it also made it difficult because everything was delicious!). Decided on the Carribean-inspired menu with turnovers and Pakora as appetizers. The food was a hit! The apps disappeared and people took extras home. My favorites were the Chana Masala and the braised cabbage. Sri and Stephanie were a joy to work with. Very professional and responsive to any and all questions. Delivery was on time, setup was perfect, and everything clearly labeled. Cannot wait to use them again!

My wife and I couldn’t have been happier with our choice to use Upohar to cater our backyard wedding. From start to finish, Sri and Stephanie were responsive and helpful in coming up with ideas to accommodate the dietary needs(vegetarian, gluten free) of our guests and the requirements of our event space. When it came time for the party, everything went exactly as planned. Josiah and crew were on top of it. Some of the guests at our party aren’t the most adventurous eaters, but we had multiple people come up to us and exclaim that they weren’t sure if they’d like their dishes, but they ended up loving it! Other guests who were more familiar with international cuisines raved about their dishes and told us it was some of the best wedding food they’d ever had. We felt that for the quality of food and the scope of service provided, Upohar offered an incredible value and we urge anyone looking for a caterer to give them a call.

We had the pleasure of working with Sri, Stephanie, and Josiah for our wedding catering. This is a phenomenal business that provides delicious, unique, and fairly priced catering. From the consultation, to the tasting, to drop off - the entire team was professional, thoughtful, communicative, and on time. We chose Upohar initially because it’s a small woman-owned business that provided cuisines from all over the world, and once we tried the food we were sold. If you’d like your wedding/party to have food that is memorable and will make your guests happy, Upohar should be a top consideration. Wedding food doesn’t have to be boring and basic. Most of the options we chose were gluten free, and they did a great job of labeling the food for our guests. We wish they had a restaurant so we could have their food more often. We can’t thank this team enough for helping to make our day stress-free and providing us with delicious food.

Upohar recently catered TFEC's annual holiday reception. The service and food were amazing ! We highly recommend them and will most certainly be using them again! The worked with Traveling Tap to meet our beverage needs and they, too were great ! We love supporting local businesses !

From initial scheduling and menus choices, to changing the final numbers and adding to the menus to meeting the setup people to impressing our guests, Upohar holds the record on excellence. The setup crew paid incredible attention to every detail. They engaged us in a most personable way to make sure evrythoing was as we needed. The guests continue to call and express their thanks for serving gourmet food. This well run, five star caterer gets 6 out of 5 stars. When one adds their mission, it is clear thee simply is no other place.

My husband and I used Upohar for our wedding. The food was sooooo good and we still have guests talking about some of the dishes! We had a combination of Peruvian, West African and Lao dishes. We recommend Upohar to anybody wanting delicious food at their wedding. The service and care they put into our whole experience was wonderful as well!

Upohar catered my husband and my wedding, and they did an absolutely flawless job with everything!! The food was amazing, everything was hot, flavorful, tender, and exceeded our expectations! Upohar was also flexible with where we had them set up the line of food in our reception area. They were a pleasure to work with in every way. We would like to acknowledge the young man who brought us our appetizers while we were getting our bride and groom pictures and our bridal party pictures during the bout of rainstorm that we had. We had our small wedding celebration catered by Upohar in June, and I wholeheartedly recommend them! We were looking for a vegan/veg caterer which is hard to come by in the area, and we're so glad we found Upohar! We had a delicious Mediterranean buffet meal and our guests loved it!
