After multiple experiences like this, I encourage everyone to avoid waffle houses on a Friday or Saturday night. They are always shorthanded (only one waiter and one cook for the whole place this past Friday night), and the place was packed. We had to wait fifteen minutes just to order. Other groups came and left without ordering anything 😒

We ordered breakfast my food and coffee was cold. My friends all star breakfast was hot. I expressed it to the waiter and her body language was not welcoming. As if I gave her cold food. I paid the bill and the cashier sarcastically stated have a good day!

OMG 😲 😱 😲 the one star is for my server Kyla, she was pleasant. The food was hhhooooooorrrrriiiiie! The egg was deep fried in oil! They had to make the omelet twice finally I said nevermind. The potatoes were hard! They give you spicket water and it tasted horrible, melted the ice so fast that I knew something wasn't right when that ice melted like that! It's a great spot to meet for coffee, don't dare eat! ☕️ Horrible expirience!

Today between 7:40pm and 8:40pm we visited the Waffle House on Dillerville Rd and was unfortunately disappointed by the experience. Upon arrival, there was only one server and one cook working. Despite the restaurant being busy, which isn’t unusual for this location, the three of us were not acknowledged for the first 10-15 minutes. When we were finally addressed, we were informed that another table’s order would be taken before ours.

After another 5-10 minutes, we managed to place our order. It took 15 more minutes for our first item—a side of sausage—to arrive, without any drinks or silverware. The remainder of our meal was delivered piecemeal, amid noticeable arguments between the server and the cook over which items had been prepared. Eventually, all our food arrived, followed shortly by our drinks.

As for the food, it was generally good, though the grits were clearly old. The real disappointment lay in the lack of customer service. Having worked in the restaurant industry for many years, I understand the challenges of a busy environment. However, busyness does not justify poor service or lack of attentiveness to customers.

I sincerely hope that improvements are made in both staffing and service, as this experience fell short of what I’ve come to expect from Waffle House.
