Disregard the recent 1-star reviews. Video on social media is about a restaurant in Illinois with the same name

First time visit here with a client for lunch. Easy to order counter. Friendly staff and very clean place. Food was phenomenal!

Soup and sandwiches are made to order and fresh. Soups are very good. Makes a great meal for the family.

The Thai Curry Chicken soup was delicious! The salad was fresh and perfectly assembled. I enjoyed the meal in a clean environment. Service was excellent. I will definitely visit again!

at 8 dollars a bowl it should be wow. seafood tasted old or fake but off. three soups lacked herb seasoning very bland.

Best bread that I've ever had--and it's organic! It has a delicious sour dough base, and is healthy! When I brought home a loaf, my stepson said everyone should make bread like this.

Great service, terrible food. We had the hamburger, 12" hotdog, and grilled cheese kids meal. Very low quality food. I would not recommend the food.

This place is amazing and the owners are so nice. I came in on a Sunday afternoon, feeling down and looking for something sweet, when they had been returning from a market and I wasn't aware that they were actually closed (something is wrong with the Sunday hours listed) but the door was open so I strolled and was so embarrassed to find out that they were closed. When I made to leave they wouldn't hear any of and asked me what I had been looking for (chocolate chip cookies). I asked for half a dozen which the woman behind the counter happily got for me, all while asking me about school, my major, and how finals were going. When I got home, I opened up the bag and found 7 delicious homemade cookies. I couldn't have asked for a group of nicer people (or more delicious cookies) on a day like today. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for quality baked goods from a great group of people. Thank you so much Whistlestop, you made my day a whole lot better!!

This is a nice little family owned business. The baked goods are made from scratch with love and you can taste the difference. It's not much to look at as far as decor and ambiance goes. This isn't the sort of cafe I'd go to hang out for extended lengths of time, but everything I've ever eaten from here has tasted like heaven. Do yourself a favor and get your baked goods here instead of a grocery store next time. You won't regret it.

Good food, nice place, nice staff. I had quiche and it was delicious. Did not feel rushed, hope to go back again.

Pleasant little bakery/cafe located just across from the Lancaster Amtrak station. Fresh made breads, muffins, croissants are only a sampling of what this place offers. Nice stop for a quick breakfast or lunch, and hot coffee. The staff is friendly and quick to serve, and we're very happy to have some YELPers! My son absolutely devoured his blueberry muffin and smiled the entire time. Will definitely stop back in.

Awesome little bakery close to the train station. Croissants are delicious and I love the Everything Bread.
