First time eating there. Won't be the last. Ate upstairs. It was relaxing. Service and food on point.
we were pleasantly surprised, the food and service were terrific. I was a little skeptical because you can always get a reservation there, but we will definitely be back. hopeful for a equally nice job at the Scooters replacement!
Wonderful service, as always. I had the delicious moussaka and dolma. Thank you for a wonderful meal in a perfect atmosphere!
This is my 4th time dining at Yorgos and have had great food and service. One of my favorite places to eat!
We had a wonderful meal from appetizers to our main course to dessert, but that's not the only reason that you will definitely want to dine at Kefi (the upstairs dining room at Yorgos). When the owner comes by to make sure everything is OK, and actually wants to engage and make you feel welcome, there's a feeling of belonging that takes you back to the “good ole days” and makes you feel welcome and appreciated. That's what happened when the owner, George, came by our table. He clearly loves what he does, and connecting with his guests obviously brings him joy too. And he's not the only one who made us feel welcome. Our server also arrived with a smile every time she came by our table, and took time to answer our questions. She even even gave my wife a hug when she shared her delight in our experience at Yorgos. And all of the other staff we connected with were friendly too. Absolutely delicious food, beautiful presentation, excellent service, and feeling like a guest at your family's home - you have every reason to visit Kefi at Yorgos and make it your regular stop when in Lancaster.
My wife and I dined in the Kefi dining room for our anniversary. We had reservations and were seated right away. Very relaxing atmosphere. Didn't feel rushed at all. Food and service were excellent. Owner/manager very friendly. I definitely recommend!
We were visiting Lancaster for our anniversary and Kefi at Yorgos came up as a restaurant suggestion. We love Greek food so we were happy to find this restaurant that was nearby. The restaurant was beautifully decorated for the holidays, staff seated us quickly and our server Diamorr was fantastic and provided us with recommendations from the menu. She even presented a beautiful piece of baklava cheesecake to celebrate our special occasion! Everything we had (salads, souvlaki platter, dessert) was delicious and fresh. We will definitely go back if we're in the area again.
Excellent selection of primarily Greek food but also excellent options for other palates. Casual eating on first floor with finer dining on second floor
Usually a great dinner so this must have been an off night. Slow inattentive and uninformed service though not at all busy. Mussels were inedible because they were so salty. Lemon chicken soup and lamb were good.
The wait staff was exceptionally nice!! The food wand drinks were very good, a very nice dining experience.

Service was slow, as they seem to want to help a table of 8 people over us. I got the scallops with “seasonal” vegetables. The dish was lukewarm and scallops were just ok. The vegetables were obviously a frozen blend. My friend got the moussaka, and said it was good but on the dry side. We tried it, but not going back.
Absolutely wonderful dining experience in Lancaster. Christy provided great service! Dessert selections are top notch. Greek food is delicious!

I honestly read all the reviews and was looking forward to eating here. This was one the worse restaurants I ate at! We had reservations for the Kefi room, but host didn’t ask us or even care. It was not crowded at all and led us upstairs. There was a large party there and just us. It took forever to order our drinks, so by the time the waitress showed up we just ordered all of it. My friend got the lemon chicken soup and she said it was good, but could’ve been hotter. Our dinner salads were nice. They use really good lettuce but they got my dressing wrong. That took 5 minutes to get the right one. We had to ask for bread 3 different times, and the bread was cold and horrible tasting. I got the scallops with “seasonal” vegetables! They were not seasonal, looked like it was a Birds Eye veggie mix. It had broccoli, red peppers and onions. It was on the cold side. I got 5 small scallops and a huge mound of mashed potatoes. The potatoes were not piped as described on the menu. The cream sauce was tasteless. My friend got the mousakka. She said it was ok, very dry. This is not Greek food, as I have been to Greece. The waitress was horrible. She was hard to understand, so quiet and she and the host seemed more interested in helping the large party that was there. The host even brought over a special drink with a sparkler in it for one of the women at this party. They totally ignored us. We must’ve come at an off time, but this was the worst!
Have passed this place too many times, finally stopped in. Phoebe, our server, was amazing and attentive. I was never without water or a drink and she even got our app order in before the happy hour special ended! The crab dip was big and cheesy with warm, soft pitas for dipping, or shall I say, scooping. Could have used a few more since the dip was big, but they do offer extra for a small fee. Main courses were plentiful. I tried the chicken souvlaki which came open-faced with 2 full skewers of perfectly grilled chicken kabobs. The poor pita they rested on got a little soggy, but I pushed through and ate it open- faced and cut into pieces 😉. The Parmesan crusted salmon was thick and cooked perfectly served with creamy Parmesan sauce and the Cuban panini, huge! Wonderful meal, didn't try the bar, but it looked good, too.
