The food is good however the seasonings could be a little over bearing. But over all the the food is good the prices are reasonable for most of their food.

My family and I stopped in here randomly by chance on a long road trip. I really like j*** food so this was an easy choice.Well, we were all super impressed with the whole experience. After talking for a bit with the very friendly owner, the 9 of us got a variety of menu items and they were all fantastic and really well executed. I had a jerked half chicken with some rice and peas, and green beans. The flavor was great with a nice, complex spice rub with some smokiness. Fall apart tender. The rest of my party raved about the ribs, pulled pork and tacos. We are so glad we happened to find this place!PS the Scotch Bonnet Aioli has a decent kick but is super delicious!

Really mediocre place. Save your time and do not go there. Food does not taste clean.. didn't even go through half of it. Nothing about the food there even close to famous Jamaican J*** Chicken. If that's what triggered your attention, do not even bother. I've noticed they are running a couple of joints under the same address. It used to be called: "Full Circle Food" (supposedly healthy clean food... No way, if it's prepared in the same kitchen.) looks like owners of this place can't stand on their two feet and must open multiple food places, which utilize the same ingredients on the same kitchen. I'm pretty sure there will be a different sign above this building soon. looks like a lot of locals agree with me on the quality.

My wife had the shrimp platter, which she said was delicious. I had the burnt ends sandwich which was delicious also. This was our first time there. The days and hours were limited so it was hard to get there when they are open. As for drinks, they currently only offer a few soft drinks and water. But definitely go for the food
Extremely friendly people working there.I had the salmon, rice and beans and asparagus. Great flavors. As good as the salmon was it was very dry. The rice and beans was also very dry and undercooked. It sounds like I’m nit picking but I like this place and want it to be better
So glad this place it doing well and opening new spaces for folks to enjoy. The food is great and a good theme. Who doesn't love j*** chicken! However they have many other choices if that's not your thing.
Ordered two of the j*** chicken platters. My fiancé is Jamaican and I love their food. Saw the good reviews and had to try it . We both were highly disappointed. The j*** Chicken was not authentic , it had a thick layers of j*** paste on the outside but no flavor inside . It was some pink in my fiancés chicken . And the rice and peas had no flavor at all. I should have known better when I walked in to get my food and it looked like a fine dining restaurant. Main dish in Elsmere if you want authentic Jamaican food. We threw away the food away from this place .

Celebrated my birthday there and they were so welcoming and accommodating. They went the extra mile to make us feel comfortable and the food was delicious. Their sweet potato fries and shoestring fries are to die for! Thank you Great Big J*** for being awesome!

Not what we expected at all. First time we tried the food. We ordered the chicken and brisket with coleslaw and Mac and cheese. Really weren’t fans of the food. You should try it for yourself though.
Our first try at Great Big J**** and the food was very good! My husband and I each had a 1/2 chicken platter. He had the dry rub and I had the j*** chicken. My only constructive criticisms are the boxes weren’t labeled, so we didn’t know which was the dry rub and which was the j**** I actually thought they tasted tasted the same, so not a big deal but would be good to label the boxes. We also thought the green beans could have been cooked a little longer, they were good, just pretty crunchy, and everything else was delicious! I highly recommend the slaw, and the mango salsa they include was quite fresh. We’ll definitely come back! I’d love to try their desserts!
Absolutely delicious brisket and shredded brussells sprouts! The sauce provided with the brisket was tangy and delicious, but completely unnecessary! This brisket easily stood on it's own with a beautiful bark and tender interior. Flavors and textures were spot on. I wish I had tried it sooner! I'll be back!
Dietary restrictions: Great spot for anyone eating Keto!
Stopped in for our first visit on Saturday afternoon. Very friendly service. We really enjoyed the scotch bonnet wings. They were delicious and smokey. I also had the j*** smash burger w/ burnt ends (this may have been the first one served) that was outstanding. I highly recommend. It’s also BYOB…which I like as well. We’ll be going back the next time we’re in the area.
We ordered the family platter and chicken spring rolls. Both dishes were delicious. Will definitely be reordering from here again!
