Recently moved into the area and had been wanting to check out the Landenberg Store. Today, we finally popped in. OMG, we are hooked. If you want the most amazing chicken salad sandwich, run, don't walk to the Landenberg Store. The staff were super friendly and the Store was clean, warm, and inviting. We will definitely be back and we recommend you check it out too!

Cute general store with coffee, pastries, sandwiches, and a small deli. Had their fabulous chicken salad. An assortment of goods from local artists, and what looked like old-school penny candy. Outdoor dining spots, too. Reminded me of a general store I visited as a kid. Check out the stained glass front door at the Landenberg Hotel next door.

Great lil spot! They have lots of local honeys, sauces, coffee grinds, canned foods, etc… sandwiches are expensive for what you get but you’re supporting a local business.Really like the prepared meal ideas they started doing and hope they do more for 2024!!’

This store is a local treasure! I absolutely love the soups and the take-and-bake dinner entrees - they’re a lifesaver on weeknights and DELICIOUS!!

I’m a local and I stop by about once a month. Always find/get the best stuff in here. With the new hours it’s more convenient for me.I recommend the turkey bri and fig sandwich. It’s my favorite. And any of their desserts but if it’s fall you have to get the pumpkin roll. I have been dreaming of it since Christmas ?.

Toast

They have excellent service, good chai tea, and a wide variety of amazing cupcakes.

This lovely little store was able to accommodate my lactose intolerance for my coffee (Costa Rican coffee ROASTED IN THE STORE! Yum!) and my sister's gluten intolerance with some awesome looking sugar cookies. We got "granny's grilled cheese", an awesome cheddar and granny apples on raisin bread. We got a BLT on sourdough, that was fabulous. And a very good chef's salad with lots of meat and cheese. The brownie was also excellent. If you're in the area and need food, visit this store!

Haven’t been here since 1998, so I’m reviewing from the past. Place had decent hoagies and candy. Would meet there then run off and do mischief with chix in the woods. Holla.

I had a meatball sub. The roll was stale and it was overall very dry with little to no sauce on the meatballs. I got the impression that the meatballs were prepared months ago and left uncovered on a dusty gun cabinet.

Great location and cool place to check out. Recently under new management, there have been a ton up new upgrades. So excited for all those involved in revamping this historic spot.

What a hidden gem. Popped in to get a sandwich for lunch and was so impressed - nice people and a great selection in the store. If you’re driving through town it’s 100% worth the stop.
