We ate here for the first time this evening. We ordered a cheesesteak sub and a crispy chicken sub. The food was very good! You can always find good food at these type of hole in the wall places. I would suggest calling ahead. It seems that the main business there is the kitchen. They even have a drive-through window! They also have various baked goods from the Amish, which are always the best. They have a big selection of drinks and also have chips/snacks. Looked like they had...
I usually stop in for breakfast every morning. Most of the time, there are breakfast sandwiches ready to go, which is great. However, lately, it seems to be a bit slower than normal, and the selection of breakfast sandwiches has been slim. I typically get there between 7:00 and 7:30, sometimes earlier if I have jobs lined up, and as a sausage, egg, and cheese guy, I often find that they're already sold out. Unfortunately, I don’t have time to wait, so I usually grab something...
I wrote a review about Poppa'z a few years ago, so this is just an update. We live in Maine now, but my wife (and I agree) thinks that Poppa's pizza has the most flavorful, excellent sauce we have found. Anywhere. When we get back to PeCo, a pizza from Poppa'z is on the MUST DO list.
