China Pearl - Langhorne

Not the best Chinese food I've had but quite a bit better than the rating suggests. Have an occasional tendency to oversalt food, but frankly I'll take that over underseasoned any day of the week. The fried rice tastes wok-made and their Americanized Chinese dishes are really quite good. Large quantities and inexpensive, and the owners are super nice. Definitely give them a try!

Egg Drop Soup smelled of BBQChicken Fried rice was dry. Chicken and broccoli had no taste and chicken was overcooked, pork fried dumplings, out of 6, 2 were burned. You can’t make up how bad this meal was!Never again. I hope to save someone else the waste of money

Best service I’ve ever gotten, the owner pulled out my seat and cleaned the table in front of me and brought my food to me, as well as a soda. He even put music on and had a conversation with me. The recipes are different than the average Chinese restaurant but delicious in my opinion. I would come again any day, I get treated like royalty!!

Newtown’s best kept secret for delicious, fast and affordable Chinese food. Excellent bourbon chicken and lo mein! Don’t be fooled by the Karen’s and Kyle’s leaving negative reviews. Or be fooled and miss out on getting three tasty entrees for less than $40.

Good service, horrible food. Wonton soup was sloggy and rest of food wasn't fresh. Threw it out in fear of getting sick.

I don't understand why this place has such a low rating. I was in the area and craving Chinese food, so I took a chance on it. Not sure what others' expectations were, but for Chinese-American takeout, it was really good! I did order for pickup though, and based off the 1-star reviews, seems like if you just avoid delivery, you'll have a much better experience. Staff is also super friendly and cheerful. Since it was so cold out, they offered to bring the food to my car since they closed off the restaurant inside (because of covid), which I thought was a kind gesture.

This place is the worst! Delivery is a joke! Waited 2 hours for food, called 3 times and every time "the delivery guy was on his way". Don't order from this place.

Truly dreadful -- especially in relation to other Asian restaurants in the Newtown and Langhorne areas. Fried food including the fried rice is excessively greasy and often over-salted (perhaps too much MSG), egg rolls seemed stale, and the soups are essentially tasteless. There are several better Chinese/Japanese options in the area.

This place has legitimately terrible food, dont waste your money.
