Way overhyped. I got a cheesesteak that had some cream cheese concoction on it. Hard pass on this place. Lots of followers because of the gluten free nonsense but the food isn’t up to par.

Jay's Joint is nestled between houses in an unassuming residential area of Langhorne, PA. If you weren’t looking for it, you might easily drive right past it. I got my favorite Philly Cheese Steak with fried onions, which is always delicious, but this time I selected one of their amazing pretzel rolls (I usually get a seeded Italian hoagie roll.) It was loaded with flavor, and texture. I’ll definitely be back but will have to try the Pizza Steak! BTW: .Gluten Free is no problem for jay's Joint

We absolutely LOVE Jay’s! As someone with celiac, I can’t tell you how much I appreciate how safe and accommodating they are! This is hands-down my favorite place to eat. The food is amazing, and the owners are incredibly kind and welcoming.

We had the absolute pleasure of having Jay's Joint Food Truck come out to YTS again, and let me just say, they never disappoint! This is our second time hosting them, and we’re already planning to have them back in the fall. That’s how good they are!

Meeting Jay and Kristen was such a joy. Kristen and I are basically BFFs now (no, seriously 😄), and both of them are just the kindest, most genuine people. Their energy, service, and food are all top-tier.

And can we talk about the cheesesteak for a second? I could eat three of those things, no joke. You simply can’t go wrong with anything on their menu.

Thank you guys so much for coming out and making our day delicious. Can’t wait to see you again soon!

I grew up in NE Philly and I live now on the west coast. I go out of my way to go to Jay’s Joint when I visit my hometown, and get ridiculously happy to throw all of my money at them for those amazing cheese pretzel rolls. No trip to Philly is complete without a visit here. Thank you, Good Sir and Crew, for creating all these culinary indulgences of Awesomeness.

1/25/25 Edit: Prices of most items were raised by 2 dollars or more. Extremely disappointed. This vs a deli for hoagies, the deli wins at the new price of 13 dollars. Cheese steaks were good but not 15-17 with Cooper Sharp. Standard steaks dont have enough cheese and are chopped into weird pebble like consistency, not good.

Food is decent but nothing to go crazy about. The only reason this place has the hype it does is because it's the only option for gluten-free cheesesteaks within 30-45 minute drive or more.

Also charging 21 dollars for a gluten free cheesesteak is insane, but he makes enough to be open only 4 days a week so hey there is that.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! I have loved the food here for years but just recently had to become gluten free. Gluten free bread and rolls in general just suck. I don't know what kind of witchcraft or magic happens in Jay's (dedicated gluten free) kitchen but those GF rolls are outstanding! I'm so thankful to have this place as an option when I am sick of eating rice all week! And can we talk about how the owner, on his days off, volunteers his time to help feed people who are struggling to feed themselves? Or how lovely and kind the staff are when you go to pick up your order? Stand up guy, wonderful staff, excellent food. Thank you from the bottom of my gluten intolerant heart!
